This is the best clinic ever!!!! Try going to the clinic in North Chicago and you will see what a bad clinic is like. I don't know why there are so many negatives, count yourself very lucky to have a CBOC in Mountain Home. Little Rock is just as good!!

Injured back and getting in to be seen was a nightmare. Still have not had an actual physical exam. Ive adamantly refused any narcotics and pain is horrible. Requested steroid injection or oral for pain and was refused but offered Tramadol (synthetic opioid.) The VA is very willing to hand out narcotics and create addicts but not willing to try conservative approaches.

With the huge amount of Veterans they see everyday, the staff do an excellent job! Many patients show up angry and demanding. A lot of times for absolutely no reason at all. They get upset about things that aren't in the CBOC's control (like prescription delivery). I've seen it while waiting for an appointment. The staff bend over backwards to help everyone and work hard to maintain care for us Veterans. Please tell them thanks for taking care of us!

why they need a security guard is beyond me. all she does is sit there and tell people how to wear a mask correctly. this after Biden declared the pandemic over. the mental health dude talked about himself for 45 minutes and never called me again. typical VA standards. but the nurses are friendly.

WHAT? I've had nothing but excellent, prompt, and personal care here and at its earlier location as well. Waiting times (with appointments) have never been more than 10-15 minutes after the scheduling & usually within 5 minutes either way. I live in Cherokee Village & am not a morning person & they have always worked w/me in getting an appointment convenient for me. Nurse Benz, the staff, in fact, EVERYbody at this new facility (& the former site) have been outstanding. Trying to add a new prescription was a minor issue but that problem was a Little Rock issue & one phone call to Mtn. Home fixed that.

I have called multiple times and it rings 20 times and just hangs up on me. It never gives me an opportunity to leave a voice-mail. Trying to get a wellness check but they never answer.
