I have been with Monterey Herb Co. for years. I placed a recent order and worked really hard to get my order amount to $250.00 for free shipping. I had a discount and applied it at the end. It showed that after the discount I was safe on my amount for free shipping. After I hit pay it dropped me $3.00 below my $250.00. I honestly believed that I was safe with my order when I hit pay. I called them and the man I got on the phone was not helpful and wouldn't listen to what I was saying. I told him that I had been purchasing from Monterey for years and after his attitude and his being so rude I would never order from them again. He told me that was fine and my choice. I asked him if I could add one more thing to my order and he said NO. If you order from them just be sure what the order form says and what you are actually paying are right because they don't care about helping you in customer service. Truly they seem to have such a good business that they don't need your business.

Just to let future customers know. This company is high ranked as well. So you don't have to be worried if your order will be defected in any way sort. I have been ordering from this site since c19, and never had a problem. I rank them up there or better than Mountain Rose Herb on freshness, great customer service, price, and shipping very quickly. I stop using the other site named because of there 7 to 10 day waiting period before shipping, and the shipping costs is ridiculous. I love everything about herbco and recommend them to anyone looking for a great outcome.

I recently received my order, so this rating is only due to the fact that none of the herbs I ordered, which was about 14, had the displayed volume in the package. I weighed each one, and every last one was short. Even if they turn out to be great, I won't buy from them again.

I wish I could give zero stars. Worst customer experience ever. The quality of the herbs weren’t even close to competitors and the return process is horrible too. All around 0/10. I would never recommend this company to my clients, herbalists and any tea enthusiasts. There’s far better out there. That’s why they are priced low. Trust me. Or just look at the quality compared to herbs I’ve had over a year. I look forward to getting my money back and being done.
