Will never, ever recommend ANYONE to come here. Literally find ANYWHERE else and get treated better than my husband did last Wednesday. He went in for abdominal pain around 3:30PM. He had tests run about 45 minutes later and sat in the waiting room for ALMOST 6 HOURS. Kept asking the receptionist how much longer and the response was always “I don’t know.” Not one person checked on him during this time. Around 9PM, he was finally taken to a room. After another scan he left the ER around 10:30PM. That was almost 7 HOURS TOTAL of being stuck here, while having unknown pain, with zero care from the staff. If I could give zero stars I would. Do BETTER, Infirmary.

If I could give 0 stars I would! If your looking for somewhere to die in the middle of an actual emergency this is your place!!! Bedside manners are terrible, my husband in the middle of a major cardiac crisis caught them laughing at him, he sat in his room for 20 hours on a gurney waiting for a transfer because some forgot to follow up at shift change, his monitor was continually going off his BP was outrageous 276/148 and they didn't bother to check on him period! Then we have a dark haired front receptionist that after her shift started morning shift, she followed my children grown kids around to make sure that only one was back at a time, she made it her personal mission to come around that desk to yell at me as I returned from taking my son home stating my son was still back there. She shouldn't be allowed near animals let alone humans in a crisis, I thought I was losing my husband and almost did at their hands!

I went in Sunday morning as a last resort in regards to gout/pain my knee was swollen 3x its normal size and my ankle was even worse, I arrived with a pain scale around 8am and left at 11pm with a pain scale of 12, I asked for gout medicine and Tylenol while in my room and the nurse said he could do me better than that about 3 hours later after shift change the new nurse comes in and hints that I’m being aggressive so I asked how that was? No answer but he yelled me my blood pressure is to high for any type of pain medicine made by man, I’ve had high blood pressure for 20yrs and never have been told this, so I kindly state that if I could be given a prescription of gout meds I could be on my way because at this point I’m in excruciating pain, I can hurt at home and don’t need to be here to not have help. I left I worse pain then I came in, probably because doc wanted to squeeze and pull out on my knee cap, it’s Tuesday and the swelling is down but I’m badly bruised from the doc purposely trying to hurt me in my opinion and I actually had my son recording this doc because he’d do this every time he entered even after I’d asked him not to, pretty sure lawyers will be involved with this malpractice, I feel as if I should let this go they will end up killing someone, as bad as hospitals are I wouldn’t ever recommend this place to anyone again, a few years ago this place was awesome but something has drastically changed and not for the better, I was just hurting from gout and now I’m badly bruised and feels as if my knee is trying to come out of place, this isn’t near my first rodeo with gout so I know for a fact it’s not Normal. If you want a honest opinion I’d stay far away from this play doctor facility. 1 star is way beyond what they deserve and if a zero was allowed it’d still be to high of a rating, save your leg and possibly your life and avoid this place, don’t ask for a doctors excuse either because I was told it was illegal to give patients an excuse unless they were 100% disabled or dying and also have that recorded from the doctor not a nurse. I’ll post pics of my gout and how bad the swelling was just as a reference to how much worse off you’ll have to be for a doctors excuse or pain relief.

I always go to this er because it's closer to me, after 5/17/24 not any more.I got there about 930 am ish( they only had two peole there) not busy at all. The nurses was very RUDE. I had my 3 year old and my disabled father in the waiting room so I could get checked out, they refused to let them in the room, when asked why" it's policy due to covid". My daughter screamed the entire time in the waiting room, she even fell and hurt her knee. She finally fell asleep and I was done with my CT, my nurse ( Wendy) said it would ok now to get her so my dad could step outside to get a break. ( I was there over 3 hrs) I had her in my arms asleep and they refused to let me in the door to go back to my room.( At this point the waiting room was getting packed) All the nurses in triage kept shaking their heads and refusing to press the button until I put her down. She woke as I was arguing with the charge nurse. Charge nurse finally opened the door. I told her the nurse in back said he was ok she told me i don't know why she told you that because she can't it policy and was so worried about what nurse told me that didn't even care I was in a gown holding my screaming daughter. when I told her I was leaving so I needed to go get my clothes and stuff from the room she finally pushed the bottom. Rather than just letting my daughter and disabled father in the room with me thay want her to just scream in the waiting room for over 3 + hrs. Instead they wants to just put in the hospital notes I kept leaving my room she they couldn't treat me ' properly' when I got there they acted like right then they didn't care, got in a room all she did was take blood and my piss out the cup, then waited on CT.. got that done.. no Dr or nurse ever came back at all until I was ready to leave. When they finally told me the problem they wanted me to stay longer for IV meds. I said no just give me a pill and get the IV out so I can leave. Apparently the nurse was already annoyed with me so already had my discharge papers when I got back to my room. I asked multiple nurse what was the policy on visitors age, five nurses gave me different ages. None of them know what the policy age is. I even looked it up online. They had no right to let my daughter scream in the waiting room and hurt her self, all they had to do was to let her and my disabled father come to the room to avoid this complaint. The charge nurse, triage nurse and nurse Wendy is the back need to have better bed side manners instead of refusing to let me back in my room while I had my screaming daughter in my hands. They said is covid policy.. don't you think it's more dangerous in a waiting room than a clean shut room in the back? I will never be back.
I will also be filling a complaint with hospital!!!

I really appreciated the triage tech/nurse Seth! My daughter came in Thursday night she cut her finger and needed stitches. He treat my daughter as if she was his own he wiped the blood off of her little feet! He was amazing!

Waited 3 damn hrs with my wife for a couple of ibuprofen and some other covid relief meds on top of being completely forgotten about and this isn't the first time. This place is a joke. The staff are lazy and definitely seem not up to par on their education. Noone here seems to actually care. Notice that every response back is an automated response so that right there tells you Noone actually reads these nor cares to respond and possibly make things better for those of us that need them to be. They get paid either way so it's not like they really have to care. I know some do but it damn sure seem like most dont. The guy in triage Seth was super nice though...best of the bunch. 5 STARS FOR THAT GUY!!!

Be VERY careful going to this Saraland Emergency Rm., they fail to tell you,(deception), that if they don’t have any DRs. They employ out-of network Drs and it cost you MORE MONEY, they are considered out of network although the hospital doesn’t tell you they are using out-of-network DRs. . It will cost you more money. They bill separately.
I feel this is deception at its best.
