Wish I could give this place a ZERO. The appointments they give you are never accurate or even kept. There is never an explanation by the staff as to why you weren't informed about a cancelation, or a change with dates. The ladies who work at reception are very cut-offish and rude over the phone, but seem so laid back (chatting up a storm amongst themselves and playing with their phones) in person. Wait time to get a live person is usually 40min to an hour btw, which ends up being a waste of time in the end because no resolution. I bring a family member to appointments here and its always such a headache dealing with this place for anything from appointments, to results, to even simple routine check ups with a provider. Getting an appointment that isn't two months out is terrible enough but after waiting the two months to be seen and the staff messing up the appointment that turns out was "never made" is just pathetic. They need to get organized and find people who really want to be there and do their job. Non-profit, fine, but at the end of the day they're there racking up points for their resume. This is just not fair to the patients.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience for my 2 years old daughter.
When I sought treatment, I was assured by the staff that both services would be covered by my insurance as in-network. Despite this assurance, I was later billed for these services as out-of-network, which was not only surprising but also contradictory to the initial information provided by the facility.

Furthermore, one of the bills was issued an unreasonable 8 months after the date of service, which added to the confusion and frustration. I have made multiple attempts to resolve these issues by communicating with both the facility's billing department and my insurance company, but unfortunately, my efforts have not led to a satisfactory resolution.

This situation has caused significant stress and inconvenience, prompting me to question the transparency and billing practices of this center. I would urge potential patients to be cautious and verify all billing and insurance information upfront to avoid similar experiences.

If you want to resolve the issue for me, I am more than happy to pay my copay as an in network facility as you told me initially.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Booking an appointment is a nightmare. It takes calling the office multiple times over the course of several hours to get to a receptionist. When you finally get to someone, they are rude and make no effort to help. Unfortunately, working with this clinic for the past three months has been a huge headache.

I found this clinic and doctor thru the insurance portal for my work and when I came in they said they took it, scanned my id and card thinking it was settled. Then I get a bill for almost 500$. I call and leave a message, no response. I get pissed and after a good long while I just called them again. "No insurance on record", which I know is Bs or neglectful error. (there's an error in my name on my insurance card thru my work that's not on my id, bill has it in my name).

Thru the whole experience was horrible service, the worst in my life, and I grew up poor in a small town. The next clinic immediately did tests, found something too, go anywhere else. They are to burnt out for quality service or help.

This is the truth about this clinica esperanza
Firstly, if you are undergoing treatment there, urgently look for another clinic, as they are not at all concerned about your health, on the contrary, they are using you like laboratory rats.
I was recommended by a friend, called Diogo Jordao Moya, who I later discovered was linked to dangerous mafias. When I started undergoing treatment, all the staff were always very polite, but I always noticed that there was something wrong with everyone's aura, including Jules Balibrera, who in my opinion is the worst person in this place. She is fake and evil.
I have been positive since I was 17 years old, and during 3 years of treatment at Clinica Esperanza, I noticed several failures. One of them was when Doctor Steve said that I could be one of the 200 patients who no longer needed medication for hiv, and that he wanted to do a test with me. That's why he recommended I stay off medication for 3 months, and didn't do any follow-up. I started to get really sick, when I went back to the clinic, I ended up discovering that I had monkeypox.
Another woman doctor, who seemed to be ethical, observed that my viral load had increased significantly due to Steven Leiner's test, who is a terrible professional. At that point, this doctor ended up taking my case, but was later dismissed and I never heard from her again.
Steven Leiner is one of the most incompetent professionals, that I've ever had during the entire time I've had HIV, and I've been through a lot of them. He has no competence whatsoever to stay in that hospital and uses people to “play” with health, or simply because he has orders from the pharmaceutical industry. What I can call genocide, because everyone knows that gays have active sexual lives and if the viral load is high, you put other people at risk and also your own immunity. After all, you are an immigrant, they are giving you medication for free, so they believe they can play with your physical and mental healthy
I was going through very delicate moments, and on several occasions, I asked him and his assistant Ana for help from a psychologist. They never help me, and on February 28, 2023, after discovering that I was being targeted with pornography without consent, sponsor by GAY mafia, I attempted suicide and ended up in a mental institution for more than 4 days. You may believe it or not, but this institution is involved with mafias such as lavanders, (they like to watch videos of positive gays having sex with non-positive people), the pharmaceutical industry, and big Hollywood names. And when the orders comes from this people, the staffs basically do what they ask, include reject attendance, service, help and even medications, cause for several times, I went to get my medications, and they didn’t do the prescriptions, make me waiting 2 or 3 days without medications.
Even after all this, I never received treatment or a doctor's recommendation. What I received from this Jules “I’m sorry, you’re going through this”. This person, is evil and doesn't think close to him/she, is an irresponsible health professional, who believes he can play with people. Many times, I was waiting her/him reply for more than 1 month, especially in moments that my life was in risk.
The only person who had character and respect, was Marvin Saavedra, was sent away, as he was the only one who helped me clarify after a rich people being stalking me and trying to poison, and terrorizing me, Marvin suggested for me be away from this people, and also explained, that I was being used, manipulated and terrorized by rich people and those in the pharmaceutical industry. He got fired, because he was the only one that helped me, when the orders of Gay Mafia, Hollywood, Lavanders, was reject me and be rude;
DUE TO THE TERRIBLE MEDICATIONS THEY GIVEN ME, I HAD A LOT OF DEPRESSION, MY BELLY ENLARGED CONSIDERABLY, AND MY EYES TURNED YELLOW.
NEVER GET TREATMENT AT THIS UNIT. THEY WILL PLAY WITH YOUR HEALTH.
P.S, JUST GOT ONE MESSAGE FROM THE CLINIC, THANK ME FOR SHOWING UP ON THE APPT. I AM IN BRASIL.

I made an appointment to get blood work done and while I was waiting another man with the same last name was sitting next to me. The lady walking into the laboratory snatched the man’s papers from his hands when he presented them to her. The lady working as the phlebotomist called “Gonzalez” in and we both stood up. She kept repeating the last name and when we asked the first name she rolled her eyes and finally said my first name. When walking in there was no words exchanged but I understood that, when I sat down and had my arm out she sterilized my forearm. She dropped something and picked it up and that made me uncomfortable I was gonna ask her at least change her gloves but my fear of needles took over and I froze, another lady complimented my name and asked me questions which I really appreciated because it took my mind off the needle. When she was done she just said “ok you can leave” and I did. I understand this is a nonprofit but that doesn’t mean treat your patients like cash grabs, don’t forget that you work with PEOPLE, yes just get the job done but don’t make people feel like nuisances.

I have to emphasized that the staff of this clinic have not only break their work ethic but also lost of compassion for patients.
Very disappointing, my mother went to this clinic two days ago for an appointment and the front desk lady was super rude to her. If you don't have passion of what do, don't mistreat patients just for your egotism. There are tons other people who are willing to take your place and have passion to help patients.
