I appreciate BreAnn and the absolute amazing listener and problem work througher she is. I am comfortable to let my guard down and express my life experiences with her without feeling judged or embarrassed of what I go through in life. I appreciate her correction and guidence as we all need someone who is genuinely willing to help see us for who we are and help without expecting something in return. She keeps me laughing and I enjoy her calm demeanour, beautiful smile, Vogue outfits, lovely smelling perfume and just a delight to be around. I came in with my mother who wanted to admit me because she couldn't take care of me, my father who was absent in my life, would not take responsibility over me. They decided they would take me in instead of sending my mother away with resources. This decision impacted most of my life as the behavioral health hospital I was sent to was filthy, dangerous, and did not help; as I got assaulted by a boy and ended up with a mild concussion. You had to stay on an uncomfortable chair for DAYS with only a tiny blanket and a TV and a staff in the corner of the room. Like, what the hell? I did not receive any service, and they did not provide me with any food either. This very violent child was throwing things across the room, and the staff were laughing and trying to make her even more angry so they could put her in the hole. She was then released home, and I was forced to go to a behavioral health hospital with no question. I had attempted 5 years ago, and was not feeling suicidal at all anymore as I had received help in the past. I have a feeling they stereotyped me because I'm transgender and alternative, they must have been thinking, well of course he's suicidal, he's a goth!! Like why would you send a child to a behavioral health hospital just because his mother is stressed? Wouldn't she be the one receiving help?

Jerica was quick to see me, but not at all rushed. She was compassionate and understanding.
I feel much better with the bridge she provided.
I hope people in need, they come to visit MIND 24/7 receive the same care I did.

Unfortunately this was one of several trips to Mind24-7. However, Andrea, The PMHNP-BC was amazing. She listened, was supportive, caring and very professional. Chris was also great and very caring right through the process. Everyone has their own experience and usually share just bad experiences but they deserve the praise and we are very grateful.

I’m 6’7” 240lbs and never been so scared in my life not only with what my child was going through at the time, but that i felt they were gonna chase us out of there to get my kid. I barely finished signing in and already felt such a parental instinct to protect my kid and get them out of there. She tried calling the nurse and I said that my child was calm and just going to leave and then she called the nurse aggressively. Somethings not right about those place. They'll be on the news soon and not for a good reason. Mind 24/7-Please do not answer with lies of how you care its apparent from the first meeting that you don’t

I would never go here again. The staff was nice but all they had to do was watch movies in a chair and monitor me. I was withdrawing so hard from alcohol, and they gave me nothing as they watched me pace the floor and look like a crazy person. This is a glorified CBI. It's a giant room with 30 recliners and you just have to sit it out. Would not recommend if you have substance abuse problems. Also, I walked out with ZERO paperwork, which I thought was odd.

I came here two days post partum because I was just not OK. I really needed something to calm me down, get me to feel just OK again until I could get in to see my doctor. I waited for a long time in waiting room and the first 15 minutes of that long wait was spent being harassed by another patient who was clearly under the influence of something. Then I got taken to what was basically like a holding room, not comforting at all. I sat there for another hour probably until I opened my door and asked to leave cause my anxiety was just worse being there. I got told I could leave then was not let go for another 20 minutes because they still wanted to get paid. Finally I see whoever the person was who came in and she gave me something for anxiety that I told her I had at home and was NOT WORKING due to the severity of whatever was going on with my body and mind. Waste of my time. I ended up in the emergency room for a mental health crisis two hours later and got the help I needed because they actually cared. All the people there at mind 24/7 walk around like COs with walkie talkies and like they’re hot stuff and making a huge difference when they’re not there to be caring towards those who need some help. It’s a paycheck. That’s it. Do not go here.
