I am very relieved to have found them. I saw Brittney Burdick the PA and she is very intelligent, knowledgeable, and helpful. She knew the tests I needed done before I asked for them which has never happened to me. The medical assistant was very compassionate and genuine. Also, they do blood draws in office so I didn’t have to go to quest. It was easily the most painless blood draw I’ve had. 🙂

I have going there for several years but i must say my last visit has made me decide to go elsewhere. I have never had any issues with the staff until now. The medical asst that took me back was not attentive as to why i was there and left me hanging in the bathroom for a urine sample and never came back. She just went onto the next patient. I found my way back to the room and when the PA came in and asked why i was there, i explained to her that the asst did not even finish with me before she moved onto the next patient. Besides that, the bathroom was disgusting and not clean, the walls were gross, and i just noticed the whole place was not clean at all. Disappointed.

First let me say I love Mrs. Medina but the wait is crazy! Never got a call about my labs so I made an appointment. I came in last week and waited in a room by myself for over an hour after waiting in the waiting room for 45minutes!!!! I walked out and told them I was leaving. Rescheduled for TODAY for an 8am apt so I could be first. I’m her only patient in this waiting room of 4 ppl. Needless to say it’s over 40 minutes and they haven’t called me to the back yet! I think they believe ppl have all day to just sit around. I work!!! When your first patient is waiting what could possibly be going on in the back? I think this is my last visit! Very very disappointing.

I have been going here since around 1987. I don't get sick probably as much as most....not sure. But I know each and every time I go here, they really take good care of me. On my most recent visit, I had the privilege of seeing Ms. Medina. I really didn't want to hear all she had to say that I needed to give my attention to. I have come to realize due to all of the phone calls and concern that I have received since my visit that I do need to stop and address these health issues if I want to live a quality life or be alive at all.

When you live alone and have little to no family to express concern about your well being, you resent someone half your age telling you all these things you need to do.

Having said that.... I want to let you know how blessed I feel that I got to see you on my visit. Ocean way Family Practice has always had the most educated, caring physicians throughout the many years I have gone there. You are truly a blessing to me and to them. Thank you for listening to EVERYTHING mentioned and for going that extra step to check out the history of my chart. Thank you most of all for caring enough to teach an older lady that caring about me begins with me.

They are so blessed to have you there! I will look back in 10 years and know you are the reason I am sitting at my grandson's graduation. (Since his father, my only son, is deceased, that will be a major blessing I will have you to thank for.). I will think of you on that day and every day I am blessed to spend with my grandson.

This is a wonderful, caring medical team. If you want people who are well educated, caring and a place where you are taken well care of as a patient, this is the place for you. Go and do what she tells you to do. Get yourself well and healthy. Live a long and healthy life. And most of all, go here because they really do care about you and your health.

This may be too long, but you need to know how unbelievable and special this place and the people who work there are. I think great employees come from great leaders. Thank you Dr. Micolucci and your excellent staff for your dedication and concern for me throughout the years. A special thank you to Ms. Medina. I hope you know how special you are.

Love my doctor. Love the blood works people. Office side frustrating at times.
Referrals, sometimes they don't make it when they need to be there, which causes lost appointments, rescheduling and a rise in blood pressure. 2nd time for the same doctors referral. Not good when inconsistent becomes normal.

January 1, I changed insures and looked online for a provider and found Dr Micolucci in my network. When I arrived I waited over an hour and then I was brought to the examine room. Waited for about 15 minutes and the Dr Medina comes in. I asked where Dr Micolucci was since he was in my network and who I had the appt with. She said said "no problem we all help here and he had to leave." I again asked about the billing process since I had gone thru this before. She said do not worry. When I first received my bill, my insurance stated she was not in network and I explain what the Dr told me. I went to the office and explain that their billing and misrepresentation was not my problem and to please correct it. Now 6 months later I get a bill from their office still with Dr Medina as the provider with NO CORRECTION on the name, no receipt from insurance (meaning my insurance was not billed with the correction) and I get an adjusted bill balance of $112 versus the original bill of over $500 from the office. WHAT THE HECK?

STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!! RUN RUN RUN

This office needs to get their act together i make an appointment for a reason and i come in early to due necessary paper work and i still sit waiting for an hour and a half before I'm called to the back and then i sit in the exam room waiting another 30 minutes. This should not be like this. If you have an appointment set for patients then see them at that time.
