I moved to Florida a little over a year ago and was looking to get established with an eye doctor. I’m so glad I found Mid Florida Eye Center! This was our first visit and it didn’t start out well. The waiting room was packed and some other patients had been waiting over an hour to be seen. Before we even went back to the exam room, we had both decided that if this was how it always was, we wouldn’t be back. However, once we got back to the exam room we were very impressed with all the staff, especially Dr. Weppelmann. It turned out that they had several staff members out and a few emergencies that day, and they assured us that was not the norm, so we will be back!

I feel like I was in a place that knew what they were doing. You could tell everyone liked their job and made me feel comfortable . I felt like I was in good hands. Great staff usually mean great bosses . So I feel good about having eye surgery where it seems every one cares. Thanks, Steve

Very efficient check in, wait time was good! Diane was excellent fun and friendly the history, testing etc! Dr Nolan very friendly and nice, great report and no change in prescription! Will get 2nd pair made for backup using same RX!

The assistants who do the testing are very efficient. The eye doctors are very impersonal, hurry in, don’t look at their patient, sit with their back to the patient, look quickly into eyes and out the door they go! At least treat me some care and act like you are happy that I chose to consult you. I’m like an object with no feelings, concerns. In and out as fast as you can

Had my annual eye exam done today. Great experience as always. My intake was done by Stephanie who was very professional, informative and a pleasure to speak with. Dr. Nolan was great too. He performed a thorough examination asked questions and addressed any concerns.

I didn’t have to wait long after my actual appointment time….maybe 20 minutes. I like the self check in kiosks in the waiting room and the ability to do most paperwork online beforehand. I saw three different technicians (Stephanie, Diane and Nicole) before seeing the doctor. They were all friendly and helpful. Dr. Bauman was the same way. Very personable people including receptionists at entry and check out. In general, it is a very busy place but they do their best to get to each patient in a timely manner.
