I strongly advise anyone considering this place to stay far away. The way they treat vulnerable individuals is absolutely shocking. I had an appointment scheduled, but when I checked online, it had mysteriously vanished. When I called, I was told that the mental health nurse practitioner had unexpectedly left the company. To make matters worse, they informed me there were no available nurse practitioners at all. This is a mental health facility operating without proper staffing. There is one doctor, and the rest are mental health nurses who don't have the proper experience compared to a psychiatrist doctor. I rely on regular appointments to manage medication that needs monthly monitoring due to potential reactions, which I am currently experiencing. Now, they expect me to continue taking it without any supervision. This is beyond reckless! This facility needs to be shut down, and they should absolutely be held accountable for neglecting the care of their patients.

No idea if they're even still in business. The providers were great to work with, finally got me on the right meds and on a good path, other family members as well. It was a bit of a drive, but worth it. Multiple providers quit in the time I was with them, the last very abruptly and apparently with no replacement. Nice for us to be left with a dwindling supply of meds and no clue if we can get them refilled. Guess we get to add the stress of trying to find a new doctor to the issues we were in treatment for. Phone doesn't even seem to work now, went to VM for a few days, now makes a fax noise. Not sure how a practice that provides mental health treatment can just blow off patients like that. Pathetic. It'd be nice if some action was taken against the owner.

If you don’t want the clutch of hens in the front office to discuss your personal issues loudly, where everyone in the waiting room can hear it then don’t come. I know more about other people‘s private visits than I should ever know. HIPAA is not a priority in this office. And when the staff does not read your medication history, they will call you a liar about what you have been on and which you prefer to be on. The turnover rate for doctors in this office is extremely high so as soon as you get comfortable with someone expect they will be gone. And you have to redo it all over again. Safety and security is not a priority in this business.

Place is terrible. Wish I had read the reviews before coming. The doctor was delightful but it wasn’t worth all this mess. The billing department is a joke. They are stuck in the stone age with no way of paying online or through an app… but good luck getting the girl on the phone (I think the entire billing department is one girl who works from home). The bills are super confusing, sometimes the math is off, and now I’m calling all the time asking for a new statement because it’s been months since I’ve seen one. I don’t know how all of us unsatisfied patients get them shut down, but it NEEDS to happen.

This "provider" is a hot mess. In the six weeks that I've been here, I've had three different doctors. The first two quit unexpectedly. They canceled my recent appointment because they don't take my insurance. Hey geniuses, I've been paying out of pocket since day one. I never had insurance, and I pay the $175 each time. Now they won't call in a refill for my Wellbutrin, since I don't have an appointment. Wait, what? Letting a patient withdraw from an antidepressant through your own stupidity is either neglect, or possibly malpractice. When my wife called to clear things up on the afternoon of 10/16, the receptionist argued and hung up on her. My wife is a doctor with a private practice, and was seriously taken aback by their behavior. Look somewhere else, as Metropolitan Behavioral WILL give you problems.

I called the day before my appointment to let them know that I didn't have enough gas in my car or any money to get gas with to make my appointment the next day and the girl I spoke to informed me that I would be charged $45 for cancellation. That's just cold! If I had $45 I could have filled my car with gas and got lunch after. You don't do that to somebody. And right here at Christmas too. Dirty heifer!

STAY AWAY!!! I’ve been going here a while and my provider has changed three times. Apparently everyone has quit now, and they will not answer the phone. I’ve literally left a voicemail 5 times. People have psychiatric meds that you can’t just go on without taking, and they can’t get them refilled. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Cancelled my appointment before being seen only because they were persistent on me signing everything before coming in. In which I understand. But the last page got me. They make you put a credit card on file. It actually verifies the card too. I called just to make sure because I’m not comfortable with that. I definitely always pay my bills usually at check-in and always show to my appointments. But I’ve never had a place make you provide your credit card information before ever being seen. I was told by the front desk that it is a requirement to be seen. I asked if they run your card without permission in which Julissa said no. She told me they never run your card without your authorization. I asked her what it was for then and she said, in case your insurance doesn’t pay or if you miss your appointment. Which to me sounds like they run your card without authorization. I went to Google to read the reviews and was horrified. This appointment is for my 12-year-old son I want to make sure his visit runs smoothly. I called the practice back to give them a heads up that I was canceling. At that point , I felt like the hospitality was gone. “That’s fine” and they quickly hung up on me.
