Sneaky business practices. Not trustworthy, at all.

7/25/25...Yes, I'll tell you exactly why. You say you offer "free" delivery, but without notification you began shipping my prescriptions to me. At first I thought, no problem. Then I found out you only shipped on Thursdays. Now I'm thinking this is pretty inconvenient. But, I accommodated you. Then I found I'm now being charged for these deliveries, so I reached out to you, whereupon you had told me I had been notified of the delivery charge! I told you no one told me I was being charged.
You kept saying, "Yes they did." You were basically calling me a liar. I told you as far as I had ever known your pharmacy boasted on FREE DELIVERY and it was never my decision to switch to shipping.

Next, no matter how many times I asked you not to fill a specific medication, it was filled and shipped to me. It was even called in and refilled over and over to my Dr. without my requesting for it to be refilled. Then of course, filled and slipped in with all of my other prescriptions. I would call you or your staff (whoever I specifically spoke to last requesting that they not send that medication) and I always got that, "Oops! I'm so sorry." over and over.

I’ve been a long time customer for the convenience of running in and getting things done pretty fast and how friendly Steven the pharmacist is. As of late, there are new employees who are literally the rudest ever. They advertise they are open until 7 but the pharmacist leaves at 5 so what’s the use in being open if you can’t get your medication

Such a great pharmacy, the pharmacist and his staff quickly get to know u, and even as one enters the door, they spot me, address me politely and cheerfully before I even get up to the counter. Pharmacist gives excellent advice and information on medicines and potential clash of medicines, depending on one's other prescriptions. When those other pharmacies are backed up with customers, MetroMeds is speedy, reliable, and always a pleasant experience. I sincerely hope they will open more stores, maybe one in my immediate area of Winter Park(!)

I had a horrible experience here. First they dispensed a medication to me that I told them earlier (the same day) I was allergic to. I had to go home just to see it was the wrong medication. Then I went back and they said they didn’t have the original medication I was prescribed and couldn’t order it. The tech told me she would transfer it for me as she could clearly see I didn’t feel well and was getting the run around. I drove around for an hour and half to find another pharmacy with the medication just for the pharmacist from metromeds to tell me it was against the law to transfer an initial prescription they could only transfer refills. This was a lie. He and I both knew it. So I left. A couple minutes later he called me back to say he was wrong and he could transfer it, but at this point I felt that they were no longer really helping me and I had already left that pharmacy. I tried a couple more pharmacys after that to no avail. They were not helpful at all and made me feel like they were almost against me being dispensed the medication my doctor prescribed to me. If you want an easy honest pharmacy experience this is not the place. There obviously isn’t a line at this pharmacy for a reason.

Stopped into the pharmacy and met the pharmacist Steven Estafan. I found him to be very kind, understanding, and he took his time to have a conversation with me. It's great to still be able to find a family run pharmacy. I would highly recommend using them as your pharmacy. Support this pharmacy.

Love this pharmacy! I live in South FL, although I'm originally from Orlando. I'm in Orlando during this pandemic and have needed obscure prescriptions (compound) for my 6 month son. Candy and Steven (compound pharmacist) have been super helpful and happy to answer all my questions and had two different prescriptions in stock which is unusual. Very happy with their staff and immediate response. Highly recommend
