Dr. Houston has since left since I seen her last. She was great and very caring. Not sure of circumstances to her departure but I will personally be sad about it. The staff in office are the worst tho. As if finding and choosing doctor isn't aggravating enough..than add dealing with people on phone with no phone etiquette that is soooo much more worse

Merlandie Houston seemed very compassionate, listened, and treated my issue aggressively, as I was hoping. Feeling and doing much better by the next day. Highly recommend her and her staff....they were all very cordial and helpful.

First of all, this provider should’ve never accepted me as a new patient because she was leaving the practice. She ordered me 2 CT scans and then just left the office 2 days later, for good. No one communicated with me until that point that she was leaving the office. Then after she left the office some nurse cancelled my scan that Merlandie had ordered me without ever communicating this to me. I didn’t find out until the day my scan was supposed to be done and the only reason I found out was because I took the initiative and called the place my CT was being done at!
I had high levels on my blood work and I went out of my own way to call the office and tell them “hey my creatinine is high, wondering if I can still do my CTA” I was told “let me transfer you to the nurse”, well let me tell you I’m thinking there’s no actual nurse in this office because every time they tell me “the nurse will call you back” I never hear anything. I’m literally ghosted by this office and have been multiple times and I’ve only been there for a month. What a joke I hope this place closes it’s endangering patients’ lives.

★★★★★I've been going to this office for a little over a year now, and I will never go anywhere else again! I see Mrs. Merlandie Houston(APRN) & I highly recommend her! She's super smart, but will speak to you in layman's terms so she can help you can understand your medical conditions and concerns. She is also extremely attentive & stays on top of things such as quickly & correctly calling in meds/refills to the pharm, sending out any referrals to other docs you may be in need of, running routine blood work, etc. Plus she's an absolute sweetheart! Scheduling an appt with her is pretty easy & I've been able to get in fairly quickly, too. Not to mention, I've never had to wait longer than 15 min for my appt. After your first appt you can schedule most follow-up visits as telehealth appts. The ladies in the office are super sweet & always helpful, too. I'm so glad I found a doc & office that I feel safe with & trust implicitly, and one that I'm actually happy with, also! Go see Mrs. Merlandie Houston; I can't recommend her enough!! Thank you for helping restore some my faith in medicine, Mrs. Merlandie!♥

Very good experience although still have terrible itching and tremors due to same. Only thing that stops it is alcohol consumption. I was very impressed with her contacting me the first night with results of lab tests. Waiting for resolution of them.

She was so nice and understanding. She really seemed to care about you as a person. Everyone in the office was very nice and welcoming. I’ve told everyone I know if they are looking for a doctor, she is the one to see.
