One star because I have too. I came in at 12 weeks pregnant gushing blood and it took me 2 hours to get back to a room and then when I got into a room I was handed a gown and told “we’ll be in shortly”. Shortly turned into an hour later without vitals taken no call light given or anything. Came in begging for help to make sure my baby was ok and I was treated like I wasn’t an emergency. Only for the PA to come in acting like she was God and tell me there’s nothing we can do. Go home.

My wife was seen at this hospital over 4 years ago and the OB Dr. Hall was asking my wife a lot of very personal questions about her past, which had absolutely nothing to do with her pregnancy, health or the baby. I told him the questions he was asking are private and that he has no need to ask those types of questions. Well a couple days later my wife received a call from relations or a supervisor saying that she could be seen but that I couldn't be there at all for her appointments or be there for the birth of our daughter because I was apparently aggressive towards Dr. Hall. And she asked if she could get another OB Dr and they refused. 4 years later, today, my wife is pregnant and high risk and was told by the ER Drs to set up an OB Dr so she contacted them to set up an appointment and they sent her a message instead of calling back telling her they will not see her due to the small thing that happened 4 years ago that Dr.Hall made into such a big thing. I was not aggressive or speaking hatefully I was backing my wife all those years ago, protecting her privacy because as I said those questions did not relate to her health, her pregnancy or the baby. I wish it was recorded that day inside that room, so they could see he was in the wrong, I know that's not possible, but if it were...I imagine they don't want to lose their OB Dr and they want to protect them. But I am the same, I'm going to protect my wife. We have 3 living children and our 3rd pregnancy was with their obgyn clinic with OB Dr. Hall.. out of all of her experiences Dr. Hall was out of bounds. Every other Dr she's ever seen there or anywhere else was/did not asking those questions he asked all those years ago. Sorry for the long winded review..

Dr. Hall with Mercy OB is THE BEST Ob/gyn ever. He is intuitive, kind, careful, respectful, and compassionate for every patient and their well being. I cannot say enough good things about his professionalism and his character as a whole.

One of my best experiences at an ER. I might have gotten lucky but I went on a Monday late-morning for heart pain while 11 weeks pregnant.

They got me seen right away - but even without that - everyone was so incredibly kind (worked quickly but not rushed) and made me feel very taken care of and in capable hands from the nurse that checked me in and took blood, to the EKG tech, to the nurses in my room, and even the doctor!

They were all so nice, even brought me heated blankets twice without asking because they knew I was freezing. Even though I had to wait for results for a few hours (like at every ER) - I would very much not be nervous in having to come here again.

We have an aunt who acquired cdiff here & will miss her son's funeral, so now I thought I need to share what I experienced. I went in a few months ago with potential cdiff. I told the check in I would need access to a toilet & might have cdiff. I told triage nurses the same thing. Instead of a room with a commode, I had to use the communal restroom where all patients and visitors go. Repeatedly. I was very concerned abt spreading this to others. The nurses were not. One triage nurse even told me, "Oh well, this is the hospital. Everybody is sick here anyway." Once I finally got back into the ER room, the staff there actually took it seriously at least. I could have infected every single person, young and old, who used that waiting room bathroom. This was very disturbing to me. There is nobody to report this to, so it is what it is. But on acct of what our aunt is now suffering, I just wanted to mention it. There were two other times at Mercy ER that we noted poor treatment of patients over the years. Same doctor handled them both, & I hope he is gone now. One was when my spouse had Guillain Barre and was sent home unable to even walk. Told he was just dizzy from a sinus infection. He needed cardio ICU by the time I finally took him back to the ER a second time. Nobody cared that he was sent home to die. Nothing was ever done. I ran into the same doctor again when I took my daughter in for a head injury. He pooed it off like nothing, didn't even check her out. She ended up having thousands of seizures after that. Again, who do you tell? So we are always a little leery of using Mercy ER in Rogers. I only went with the stomach thing because Northwest was so slow to handle things. Maybe slower is better, idk. Just sharing what we've experienced here in case it matters. Their ER really needs an overhaul. It's been a mess for many years. I also recall a time when I was there with severe chest pain and forced to wait for 4 hours in the waiting room because I was forgotten. This is dangerous, but what can you do? I'm not sure we have any good ERs in NWA, but this one has the potential to be good if they would train everybody better. Just my thoughts.

The wait time in the ER was absurd. I saw many people give up and leave (one with a heart condition) who just wanted to get back to their families. I stuck it out, but 3+ hours wait time is too much. The triage nurses are very fast; it's the ER doctor staffing that is subpar. Mercy, please address this discrepancy.

Once back, the doc was mediocre, but got a +1 star for effort. The nurse was fantastic. It's just the wait time and staffing issues that earn my low rating.

This hospital must be over run or just a bad crew who doesn’t care about others wellbeing. I was kicked out of ER Monday when I needed help and two days later I tried a different clinic and they said my wounds were so bad that I need to go back. I sat in the waiting room for over three hours just bleeding in multiple different places. Thank goodness not everyone is like this hospital. If you truly or in need of help I highly recommend to go somewhere else they are only about the money. Our lord will judge them. Luke 16:19-25

I came here for the first time when I had a tubal pregnancy and I can’t even describe how amazing all the doctors were. They were so kind and did more than expected. From doctors to ultrasound tech, surgeons, etc. Everyone was so kind and took such good care of me. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience through this very scary situation. I hope this reaches the right person because my heart is full of gratitude for the people that were there that night.
