I am reviewing Dr. Rowell. I saw him on Wednesday, and it was decided by tests that I had COVID-19. They were going to call me something into my pharmacy. I decided to get groceries at Walmart first. I get my groceries, and they are in the back of a truck. I went to my pharmacy, and they said they did not carry that, so I transferred it to Walmart. We all know how long Walmart takes. After 20 minutes with my groceries in the direct sun and heat. The guy at Walmart told me that this medication was $1000, and my insurance did not cover it (Medicare). I called and spoke to Dr. Rowell. My first sentence was, “Why in the hell would you prescribe me a medication that cost $1000?” He started getting huffy and told me he doesn't go into each person's file to check and see what insurance they have. I was talking and upset that I was not rude to him. He told me I was cursing him out. After telling him I did not curse him out, he continued with his rambling. I wound up hanging up on him. I received a new test result, so I went into the app. After reviewing the rest, I went into the notes from my visit. He wrote a long, long list of lies. He said I was aggressive and rude and had been rude to the other workers. I will never see this unprofessional doctor again! He is a liar. That was my second visitthat I made to that office that day. A girl at the Berryville office told me I could walk in on Wednesday. That was not true.

I had a medical issue that required immediate treatment by antibiotics & cream. The cream prescribed by the doctor at this clinic was $200 at Walmart. Walmart reached out to the Green Forest Clinic to get approval for a $20 alternative cream. After waiting an hour at Walmart, then leaving & making multiple calls to the clinic throughout the day (by Walmart & me), they never replied to Walmart. It's three days later & they still haven't replied to Walmart. The concern is that I was not able to follow the doctor's instructions for my issue because the doctor's office never replied to Walmart which could lead to problems and me having to go back to the doctor's office again. Bad service.

Rob and I both have dr Rowell as our primary physician and we are very thankful for him and his demeanor is very nice and his concern is really a great quality ,we love mercy clinic and hospital for all the time and effort
