After speaking with about 7-10 different pharmacies today, I just wanted to take the time to leave a review for the pharmacy tech I spoke with today at Medplus. She's amazing! While your pharmacy cannot fill my prescription for insurance reasons, the pharmacy tech I spoke with went out of her way to give me all other available options, even though they would be at another pharmacy. Her customer service skills are outstanding, and I genuinely hope you accept my insurance soon because I would love to transfer any prescriptions I have to MedPlus. Thank you!

After leaving a one star review, rather than contacting me to ask what all happened they responded saying they apologized for not honoring Good RX or matching prices. I did not leave a one star, solely for that reason. I left it because even though you’re signed up as a Gold Good RX supplier and didn’t honor it, I received unfriendliness from staff and constant issue when I tried to transfer my prescription after you couldn’t fill it. It took multiple calls from another pharmacy and myself because you guys transferred incorrectly and then refused to call the other pharmacy “because it would take too long” and made me do it again. It took me five + calls between you and the other pharmacy to get it filled, and the other pharmacy had issues getting it from you as well. So it appeared that because I wouldn’t pay you full price, you gave pushback on transferring my prescriptions. For this reason, and unfriendliness I’m rating one star.

MedPlus is by far the best pharmacy I have ever used. Before coming to MedPlus, my husband and I got our monthly prescriptions from CVS. I can’t even begin to describe the pure anxiety and stress we went through every single month due to CVS. They didn’t see us as people who needed our prescribed medications, we were only numbers on a spreadsheet to them. They did not care about the devastating consequences we would face if we did not have our meds. We dealt with discrimination, annoyance, among a range of other problems simply from asking to have our medication filled on time.

When we switched insurance and had to find a new pharmacy, my father in law suggested our local MedPlus. From the start, everyone at MedPlus made us feel welcome and provided the upmost level of care. I do not have to call them all week before my prescription is due to remind them, they always just take care of it. I am always amazed at how much the owner cares for all of his clients. He will absolutely make sure you have the medication you need. He makes a point to get to know each person that goes to his pharmacy, which is such a relief coming from a huge corporate chain, where they could care less who you are. He genuinely cares about each and every individual there. You can tell his staff is happy. I’m so glad I found MedPlus, I would never go anywhere else.

MedPlus has shown me there are professionals who care about their patients. You can tell the owner got into this career to help people. He genuinely wants to make a difference. I’m so thankful for this pharmacy and everyone in it.

My wife and I have been on our medication for 5 years and recently made a huge change, and had to get new insurance, which did not work with our pharmacy, CVS. Which by the way was not that great to begin with, considering the turn over, and having to constantly call to make sure our medicine was in stock.

So we preplanned for when the time came, and searched high and low for the best pharmacy for our particular needs. We tried Walmart and got wish washy answers about possible supply shortages and we talked to Walgreens, who flat out said and I quote, “we can’t guarantee we will always have your medicine, no pharmacy can.” What other choices did we have?; Publix, Winn Dixie, Dennings. I tried the mom and pop pharmacy and the pharmacist told me he wouldn’t make enough from our insurance for our medication, so if he was to stock it for us we would have to pay out of pocket. We were absolutely devastated, our medication is one that we can not go without because it would put us in the hospital. It seemed we were not able to find anyone that cared, or that was interested in helping us.

By this time our prescription was almost up for a refill my father happened to have an incident that put him in the hospital. He came across a pamphlet for MedPlus Pharmacy and Medical Supplies of Middleburg, and sent the number to me. I read the rave reviews for this pharmacy and figured I would give it a try. I gave the sweet woman Karlis, the complete run down of everything we were experiencing and why we need the medicine, and that we were trying to just find a pharmacy that would keep our medicine in stock. She absolutely and completely sold me with this one sentence, “we treat our customers like family”, she said, and they do!

They could not have been more sympathetic and helpful assisting us in getting our prescription right and transferred over and filled. The relief that they gave my wife and me, I can’t begin to exclaim how truly fortunate we are to have come across this wonderful pharmacy. The young woman Sierra checked me out the day the medicine was due to be picked up, and the pharmacist even came to speak to me and shake my hand. Now I will recommend all of my family and friends I know to exclusively use this pharmacy. With an option like this in Middleburg, if you are reading this, do not waste another second dealing with the big box stores or the other mom and pop store trying to rip you off.

Now I am able to return to my daily life and I thank God we are able to be the best husband/wife, mom/dad, son/daughter, brother/sister that my wife and I can be.

The owners are wonderful. Many years ago when they first opened they were very kind to me. I did not have insurance at the time and they helped me . when I finally got insurance, I stayed with them because of their kindness to me in the beginning! GREAT people great pharmacy! Their staff is also amazing!

My son's rx not being available at Publix, Walgreens nor CVS was a blessing in disguise...after not being able to have my needs met all day and my son missing college b/c of no meds, the awesome "mom and pop" family business answered the phone, helped with the process, had the medicine that no one else had and also called me personally when it was ready since she knew I was stressed out! They also were friendly and enjoying themselves in their awesome store. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants more of a personal and pleasurable experience. I want people to go to them because the owners deserve to have our business. They have been there for 13 years but who knew!!
