I’m surprised this place does not have higher reviews. I was there two days ago and was diagnosed with pneumonia from the time I checked in. I was treated politely by the receptionist. The doctor was friendly and also knowledgeable while I was having some x-rays done. I felt like I was going to pass out and the girl was very nice. Another doctor was walking by and she Seemed concerned. I would definitely choose to drive an extra half a mile then go to the establishment I mentioned in a previous review I was not allowed to take pictures of the lobby, but it is quite large and the parking lot has plenty of space. I did take some pictures of the office I was sitting in and it was all very clean and I’m very grateful they were able to help me

Doctor I saw was great. The process of filling out same information on everything picture license, insurance, then fill in same information, emergency contact, past problems, etc. is a large pain. Nobody at their front area etc is happy to be working there. I know dealing with people much less, injured people is not fun but, first patient in the door and you’re angry. C’mon now. Was calmly sitting on truck when she came to unlocked door complaining the side door was open. If you walk up from to open front door why would you walk to side door? Get to the front desk and everyone seems irritated already because the world doesn’t know to sign in at a kiosk off to the side behind the door you come in. If I didn’t have to come here for workers comp I surely would not.

Showed up without appointment for CDL exam and was given first one available thanks to front desk. Thereafter, the nurse took care of my exam, and 45 min later, I was out. Everyone was courteous and made sure everything was running smoothly. Medical staff is highly skilled and professional. Highly recommended.

Urgent Care MD of Port Charlotte was great.
I mean no one wants to sit for hours waiting to be seen for any health problem. I made an appointment and I was told I could wait at home until 10 minutes before my appointment time. Then signed in easy , was called within 20 mins after getting there and seen a Dr that took her time with me, not rushed at all. She called in my prescriptions and I went to pick them up, back in my bed in know time. I felt very sick at the time. I could have saved many hours from going to past germy Emergency Department rooms waiting hours just to get in the back room.

Had upper back issues and was seen within 20 minutes. Dr sassano was amazing he found the issue was a popped out rib and help adjust me n medicine to heal the muscles.

I also asked about nose breathing issues that he found I was swollen area that reduced air flow and got something different for that.

I was out after 15 min of being seen and fixed both of my issues and very helpful, knowledgeable and couldn’t recommend this location more.

My husband has been very ill for a week with a resp infection. We went in mid afternoon on Saturday, everything was done quickly and professionally. The Prescription’s were taken care of quickly after we left. I can’t say enough for the professional staff and And efficiency of how this center was run I was impressed. Thank you.

My husband was seen promptly by friendly, helpful staff and then transferred to a room to be seen by the doctor or PA. This also was a short waiting time. She efficiently dressed my husband's injury. She explained what she was doing and what we should expect and do ourselves.

The only reason i'm giving it even a one star is because the x ray lady was extremely nice. I was told to come to this location because I got hurt at work. I ended up waiting 3 hours in the lobby in severe pain. The front desk lady, the one that was working the left booth. She was extremely non empathetic when my fiance try to explain to her about how I was in the lobby in extricating pain crying. The lady commented that everyone is either sick or injured and that we still have to wait. When, in fact, the majority of the people in the lobby we're only there to get cleared for work. The only people who felt concerned for my well-being were the other patients in the lobby. They recognize how ridiculous and unprofessional the lady behind the desk was. I ended up walking out with a fractured wrist and a torn ligament on my foot. Sitting there for almost 3 hours in a place that suppose to be caring about people. Just because they change the name of the company does not mean that they solved the fact that people still continue being mistreated. This isn't my first time hearing a bad review about this place or Med Express.
