I found MAXIM agency very helpful to our ever-challenging needs and great listening skills to the wife’s concerns on her Disabled Veteran husband’s medical situation. The whole staff from the scheduling, nursing and recruitment have constantly strive to meet the demand and responsibility in a unique way. I have worked for Maxim since 2015, and I can honestly say that it is one of the best places I’ve worked. It’s a small office, so it’s a familiar atmosphere where everyone knows you and gets to know you. They have been there for me through my toughest times, when my son passed away, always reaching out and making sure I was ok. Lori is so far the most caring and compassionate DON we’ve had, and Justin, well he’s Justin. He was there when I started and his professional attitude was what hooked me in the first place. The schedulers are awesome and always work hard to make everyone happy. There’s always room for improvement benefit wise, but the company has come a long way from what it was when I started.

I've been associated with Maxim Healthcare Services for almost or close to 15 years & I've seen the growth. This is not the same Maxim from years ago. Everything has improved 1,000%. We've a great office staff & managers that are dedicated & working hard to provide the best service possible to our patients & nursing staff. Benefits & pay have improved as well & they're always working in trying to improve & keep up with the market. Are we going to satisfy everybody? Absolutely not, but it's not for lack of trying. There was a time when I wouldn't dare recommend this company to anyone, but not anymore. I'm proud to be part of this team & this company. Come check us out.

RNs and LPNs stay far away from this agency… I should have ran after my disastrous onboarding experience. They advertise they need nurses, they love nurses, and value nurses but it’s all part of their bait and switch. The pay especially for RNs is very low (no shift diff, no weekend pay, only like 3 holidays that qualify for holiday pay), better off sticking to the hospital or nursing home….. better yet another home health agency. In addition to the low pay you constantly have to check your paycheck stub for errors. They message you ENDLESSLY, even when you tell them you’re on vacation, at another job, or dealing with family matters to pick up patients that they onboarded knowing they don’t have coverage for.
They straight bully you into picking up these patients, say whatever to get you to sign up and leave out key details….. and when you bring up issues or want to be taken off a case it’s no answer, they have to get clearance first, or they try to guilt trip you into staying…. For your sanity, to protect your license, and to keep from wasting your time just don’t bother.

I’ve worked for maxim since 2012 and I love working for them. Our Boss is very fair and honest and our Nurse coordinator is hard working and wonderful. The office manager is always on top of things. This is the best people I’ve ever worked for.
