I cannot say enough amazing things about the quality of care at the Manor. I’ve spent a lot of time there over the past 20 years, as I’ve had two very near and dear loved ones as long term residents— one for Alzheimer’s and the other for mobility/aging issues. One thing always remains true—the nursing staff goes above and beyond to show love and compassion to their residents. My grandmother had lost her zest for life because of fear of falling. The constant interactions and activities available at the manor have given her spark back, and that is priceless! She was an avid gardener in her day, and they’ve even made it possible for her to continue that passion with some raised garden beds that she helps tend in the center atrium area. We will take her out for a family dinner or appointment, and she will be watching the clock the whole time as not to miss bingo or chair yoga. We are so thankful for all of the energy that goes into creating such a strong community environment!

If you are looking for a staff that truly cares for their patients, then you should exhaust all other options before putting your loved one here. My grandfather was a patient in the rehab unit for about 9 days before we got to move him to another facility in town that made a world of a difference. The mistreatment, disrespect, lack of skill/knowledge, and just flat out carelessness of the staff (nurses, nursing assistants, physicians, and managers) is something that no family should experience during an end of life scenario for their loved one. Without going into great detail of the upsetting experience my family and my (now deceased) grandfather experienced like I could, just know that this place is a prime example of a failing healthcare facility. I cannot stress enough that for the sake of your loved one’s care, especially one going through end of life stages, that it is in your best interest to look at going anywhere else in town but here.

I have had a relative receive care in the rehab section of this facility 6 years ago and I was impressed with the the overall environment and level of care while she was there.

Recently I visited an elderly former neighbor who is in the nursing home section and I was appalled at the overwhelming odor of urine as I walked down the hallway and inside of her room. I realize that many of these residents are incontinent and require many changes of clothes and bedding, but that's part of the reason they have been admitted to a 24/7 care facility. However, the residents, the staff and visitors should not have to breathe the heavy stench of urine throughout their living quarters. There needs to be some type of air filtering system and/or cleaning system to eliminate this stench.

My husband has progressive dementia and after 14 years I could not keep him safe at home. I did my research, checked reviews but after visiting every facility in the area, I felt the Manor was the only facility I felt comfortable with.h We were on the wait list for 10 mos but so glad I waited! My husband is happy there and so well taken care of. A huge burden has been lifted off of my shoulders to know how well he is taken care of. All of the staff have been welcoming and so helpful to Tom and and I. This is where you want your loved one to be!

My mom was there for 1 month. Nurses were nice. Her room was not cleaned everyday, her bed was not made up everyday. Food was not good. Whenever my mom asked for certain food, she was never given it. Food was cold and tasteless, morning coffee was cold all the time. Doctor only comes twice a week. Also she was tested for covid nurse never told her she had it, but her roommate was told. She didn't realize until the sign was put on her door.

I wouldn't give a full star!

Forgetting patients food and after an hour and a half they bring a cold nasty burger....meat and a bun. Nasty fake cheese. no lettuce no tomatoes no onions after being on my mother's order! No sides like chips or anything! Then, to get a nurse to come talk to you about the sorry service, that's a joke! They are in NO hurry whatsoever!

Terrible physician services

Only gave 1 star so I could leave a review. This place is terrible. My grandmother was checked in on Monday night, on Tuesday she fell out of a chair and was checked over by the physician, on Wednesday when my sister came to visit she found out our grandmother's ankle was broken. The physician denies that the incident happened at the manor. They waited until Friday before they decided to finally put a boot on her leg.

My mother was placed at the manor when she fell and broke her hip. The staff really took excellent care of her. And she was given the best care that she could have gotten. We were very impressed by everyone who worked there.
