This might seem like an odd place to review, but I just wanted to let people who might be searching for help with wounds/wound care what an excellent department this is. The staff are 100% dedicated to helping you, which is a big difference from past experiences at other wound centers. When they tell you something like a diagnosis, that sounds big and scary, they don’t just leave you with a word you have to go look up on your own. They TELL you what it means, what it’s going to mean for you from now on, how and if they can help you treat it, and often how it most likely came to be. The woman at the front desk, alone, (who I hope is still there because she’s lovely and kind) has shown more compassion and consideration than many doctors I have met in the past 12 years. The nurses talk to you like a real person, and you feel like they recognize that you exist outside of the wounds/conditions that you have. The doctors are serious, but kind, (and even funny) and will be steadfast in trying to help you—even cure you if they can. If you need wound care, and you want to be treated like a human being and with consideration and care, I highly recommend this department.

When calling them to get the time for my appointment no one picked up the line and I called many times for 3 hours still no one picked up they don’t answer the line when you call always want you to leave a message so they can call you back when they want to do in the out come of this my appointment was canceled they claim it was from the auto phone system and now they are not able to get another appointment till late September if they had just picked up when I called that morning then this would not have happen I would not go here if there patient service on the phone is as bad as it is why would you want any medical care from them I know I would not
