I’m 34 and have been living with chronic neck pain and migraines for 10 years! I’ve seen numerous specialist and have tried many different medications and treatments throughout the last 10 years and no one has ever been able to tell me what was wrong or find a solution that helped my DAILY pain!

I found Dr. Maasoumi back in March and I am so thankful I did!! He has been a godsend! He LISTENS AND CARES! He never once bushed me off like other doctors and was always sympathetic to what I was going through!

Dr. Maasumi is hands-down the best migraine specialist I have ever met. I have suffered from migraines for the past thirty-three years and have been to numerous specialists. I first met Dr. Maasumi when he was at the headache clinic in San Francisco. At our first appointment, he sat down with me and spent the time to go over every medication I had ever taken to treat migraines. (No other neurologist or pain specialist had ever talked to me about it and there were over 50 medications that I tried). We came up with a course of treatment that immediately improved my life.

When he moved to Southern California I followed him. I fly down from Northern California every ten weeks for treatment. Dr. Maasumi is always there, and he is always available. Plus, did I mention that the man is absolutely brilliant and creative and passionate about helping his patients He's amazing!

Through Dr. Maasumi's interventions my life has improved. I still have chronic migraines (genetics make it rough) but now I am able to function. I am able to work, to be with my family and friends, to volunteer, and to be an active participant in life instead of living my life shut in a dark room and in pain. I credit this change in my life to Dr. Maasumi. I recommend him to everyone I know who suffers from migraines. Please, do yourself a favor and use him.

When I met with Dr. Maasumi, I was suffering with migraines 5 days a week, several hours each day. After my first appointment with Dr. Maasumi my life changed. In our meeting, he took great care in asking questions and learning my history. He wanted to know what I tried, what I haven't, what worked and what did not. He then offered treatment options, which unlike treatments in the past, actually worked. My migraine episodes reduced significantly and I enjoyed quality of life again.

Absolutely amazing. My husband has had cluster headaches for over 30 years. Last fall he started getting migraines on a constant basis. We have an HMO plan and it would have taken months to see a specialist. We chose to go out of pocket to Dr. Maasumi. It was the best decision we could have made. He is experienced and caring.
