EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER! I went to the Emergency Room for a GI issue and the staff were very polite. From the office to the nurses and PA, everyone was respectful. Although the hospital touts a faith-based approach I never feel like they’re forcing religion or their lifestyle on people. Everyone was welcome and treated respectfully. The waiting room was about medium-level full when I went in around 2:00pm. Unfortunately, since I wasn’t in pain, I was kind of put in the back burner which kind of sucked. I think my issue could’ve been addressed quickly so they could have more space for other patients. Oh well, it’s not a dealbreaker for me because the care is wonderful. Shoutout to PA Sarah and Nurse Kim (I think, she has a southern accent). Both truly cared about the patients! The hospital has plenty of parking and has a sweet cafeteria. Note, as this is an Adventist hospital all meals provided for guests and patients are Vegetarian! Yes, even in the cafeteria. The hospital is pretty clean, I saw the nurses sanitizing carts and tables throughout the day. I’m very thankful for Loma Linda!

If I could give zero stars I would.

Do NOT take your family here if you want them to get better. We went 48 hours without being able to see a doctor and they just kept saying they were messaging providers because they weren't on the property. Even the 2 nurses we actually didn't have issues with told us they only work there because they don't want to commute to San Diego and they'd never bring their family here.

My mom was in a hallway room with execrating pain and hard time breathing due to lung cancer. They then put her in the CDU which was a JOKE and scary they even allow this. They ignored my mom anytime she hit the call light and she wouldn't get meds for HOURS after they were due. I had to argue with so many nurses and doctors just to get them to check for a UTI since her urine was BROWN and they finally did at 6 days and guess what? She had one and they only gave her 1 pill of her antibiotics course and that's it!!

I contacted patient relations for a transfer but they wouldn't allow it.

She was discharged after a week and sent home not any better. She ended up back in the ER at Temecula Valley 2 days later in such critical condition she was transferred to UCSD in San Diego where we've been for a week now getting AMAZING care.

Moral of the story; if you want your loved one to die then bring them here. If not, go anywhere else.

Went to the emergency room in severs back pain. The staff was very nice. I needed to go for tests and could barely walk so I asked for a wheelchair and I used the wheelchair the entire visit which was cool because it was hard for me to get up and down. There were a lot of people waiting 13+ hours for a bed after being admitted but you have to understand that a hospital only have a limited amount of beds and a lot of people need to be admitted so what can you expect? That happens at any hospital you go to. I received excellent treatment

Loma Linda Hospital: Long Wait Times in ER

My mother recently visited the emergency room at Loma Linda Hospital and experienced a lengthy wait time in the hallway (+48/hrs). Unfortunately, during this time, she did not receive a physical evaluation to assess her mobility (walking and standing abilities).

We were interested in pursuing rehabilitation hospital care after discharge. However, the hospital staff informed us that appealing the discharge decision could result in an additional two days in the hallway, and there was no guarantee of being admitted to a rehabilitation facility.

This experience raises concerns about wait times and access to appropriate care at Loma Linda Hospital. It's important to note that the hospital currently has a one-star rating on medicare.gov.

The absolute worst hospital care both my family, and I have ever experienced. This has been a long over-due post..

My son was having severe chest pains out of no where. We came here as it was the nearest hospital. The attention and attentiveness was 0 to NONE. I believe her name was nurse Rene in the front, shame on you. This woman needs additional training in patient care, and patient communication. She was extremely rude and seemed bothered, and annoyed to even be sitting in her position as a nurse at that hospital. We decided to leave and go to Rancho Springs Hospital and let me tell you, from the moment we stepped in my son got the necessary treatment and respect that he needed. Thank you to all at Rancho Springs, a facility that truly depicts what a hospital should be like! Don’t even waste your time at Loma Linda. Really wish that place had better nurses that actually care. This hospital could be better managed.

I dont understand how anyone cant rate a hospital let alone a university where most of these young workers are doing all they can with a facility not equipped to handle so many people! We unfortunately waited for hours for my wifes transfusion the other day but had she gone to hemet hospital initially she wouldve died! My wife had a massive blood clot in her lung they found it plus other private condition did emergency surgery and saved her life! All i gotta say is if you have insurance go to your primary doctors for those my head and tummy ache style problems! I saw a couple go into together to get seen because they had the sniffles!

I give 0 stars for this place. My mom went in for a "non-life threatening surgery" . It was a routine surgery. She passed away due to a pulmonary embolism. She laid in bed after the surgery for nearly four days and complained of trouble breathing and increasing pain. The only thing they did was give her oxygen. Her postoperative care was abysmal. The whole reason they kept her was to monitor her. When she passed her my chart was shut down so we couldn't see what happened and we were not allowed to say our goodbyes to her. Her room was taped off and we were told that we would be arrested if we went inside. A security guard escorted my family out. The hospital did not reach out to us at all! No family advocate-nothing. The only person that talked to us was the county sheriff's office. The family had to wait a month to get the death certificate in order to get her medical records. I had to try and make sense of the records and read the details of my mom's death. That was horrific for me. My mom would be alive today had she not gone here. Please think twice about coming here. Your loved ones may not come out and the hospital literally does not care. My mom was a healthy, vibrant woman who had many more years ahead of her. I wish now she had just gone to San Diego for her care.

I am writing this review as I am waiting in emergency room for my wife.
1- Very rude front office staff.
2- Security guards are very intimidating
3- There is not enough chairs to sit while very sick people literally suffering with pain and they have to stand up
4- There are 6 empty chairs in 3 cubicles in waiting room with a sign saying "Do not sit". While we are here, they were never used for anything..
5- No compession whatsoever
6- Doctor was the only praise worthy individual out of all...
7- And I am pretty sure they will charge us thousands of dollars for mistreating people.
