I had an amazing experience with Dr. Kathleen! Since turning 8 months pregnant my hands started to swell more and more. Which lead to pregnancy carpal tunnel. In both hands my fingers were numb, tingly, and super uncomfortable. And then at night the pain from my wrist would radiate to my elbow which caused me to barely sleep at night! I needed some type of relief, so I started researching acupuncture. I was a bit skeptical because I have never done it before. During the actual treatment I could feel some relief in my left hand already! By the time I was leaving my right hand was feeling better as well. The true test was at night though… I was so excited when I woke up the next morning and slept throughout the whole night that I had to text her first thing in the morning to let her know that I was able to sleep, and how much I appreciated the treatment! Within an hour I already recommended her to three different people because of how positive and effective it was! I highly recommend Dr. Kathleen!

Never having done acupunture before, I was pretty nervous about it. Dr. Kathleen is not ONLY very skilled, but she' SO friendly and heartwarming. She made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I have two weak spots in my back from old injuries. Over the years, I would use chiropractors to get relief when these spots became an issue. My last round with a chiropractor did not really provide any relief. I solve the issue by taking boswellia.
In November, I did some heavy work on our farm and also picked up a heavy crock with using my back brace. It was not good.
This time I was hurting pretty good with spasms in my lower back hitting 8 to 9 on a 10-point scale. Nothing was working.
A friend of ours recommended acupuncture, and I had been curious about it. So, why not? We did some searches, read the reviews and found Kathleen.
Wow! She is a 30-year experienced physical therapist and 8-year trained and experienced in wholistic treatments, which includes acupuncture.
Kathleen is a great lady who has magic hands. She really cares about helping her patients. I have been to her five times in 6 weeks. After the fourth visit, I achieved 95 to 98% full function with nearly no pain. On the fifth visit we changed the focus to the upper part of my back to address some arthritis.
Right from the beginning, she predicted that it would take about 3 to 4 visits with one week between visits and she was right.
I highly recommend that if you are having pain issues and not getting any satisfaction from traditional medical care, go see Ms. Kathleen at Living Gaia Acupuncture.

WOW! I've had several appointments and must say that this is a VERY well run practice. Dr. Kathy is a delight and she's extremely educated, skilled, and versatile. Her "toolkit" contains so many options ranging from dry needling to light PT work...cupping..and so much more-- This is a true healing environment!
