Highly recommend Dr. Winslow! I went to her with numbness on my arm and hand and pain in my lower back. Her diagnosis was spot on. She gave me great advise and suggested stretches I can do to help release a pinched nerve in my neck. Glad to say, I no longer have those pains. Dr. Winslow ignored every issue that came up on my blood panel. I’ve had 2 doctors and a pharmacist at this point questioning why she didn’t want to treat certain issues or the one she did prescribe the pharmacist was very concerned about her dosing model being too severe. Dr. Winslow is not very personable or just uncomfortable speaking to patients. I had better connection with the students assisting her and felt they cared more about the symptoms I was experiencing than she did. Unfortunately this was just another doctor undermining patients symptoms and experience even after bloodwork confirms.

Dr. Winslow completely ignored my concerns at multiple appointments and re-directed the topic to my adult acne which was 100% unrelated to the reason I requested the appointment. If I am at a primary care doctor my concerns are for my health, not dermatology or cosmetic issues as I have a dermatologist and told her this. I understand some issues go hand in hand, but if my concern is unrelated then I don’t see the need to discuss acne.
The first time this happened I brushed it off and gave her a second chance because the visit I had prior to this went fine, but the second time in a row it was clear she was more concerned about acne. I had heard good things about her so I really wanted to like her but I was extremely dissatisfied with the care I received.

Update: Dr. Winslow and her team at LifeStream Family Medicine have been fantastic for me. She truly cares for me as a patient and is attentive to me when I see her. She even asked to pray for me during my visit! No doctor has ever done that for me before. I’ve seen her for more than four years now, I think I was one of her first patients. If you’re looking for a new doctor, consider seeing her. Dr. Winslow will take good care of you as she already has for me!

Original review: Dr. Winslow is a very kind, attentive to detail, and overall a very caring doctor. Amanda, her nurse, was great as well. They got me in right away for a new patient visit. The office is beautiful and very clean! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Winslow’s office and if you’re looking for a new doctor in the area I highly suggest you come here!
