# Improved Review

I've been to this facility a few times over the course of a few years, and the last visit was miles ahead of the others. The transformation was remarkable to me. While the staff coordination was lacking in the past, the current team operates with an impressive efficiency and attentiveness.

The facility itself has been noticeably upgraded with a more welcoming atmosphere and modernized amenities. Wait times have decreased significantly, and the administrative process flows much more smoothly now.

You definitely get what you put into it here—their personalized approach rewards patients who actively engage in their care plan. Tsitsi Stephens was exceptional—very professional with a wonderful bedside manner that made me feel comfortable and valued. She took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and created a tailored treatment plan that addressed my specific concerns.

I highly recommend this facility and particularly praise their commitment to continuous improvement, to make way for better quality and outcomes in the future. The positive changes they've implemented demonstrate their dedication to patient care and satisfaction. I wasn’t paid to write this review, just inspired to.

Absolutely the worst place. The support staff are very kind but you can tell that they must follow draconian rules. You see the physician once. No counseling. Incorrect diagnosis. Incorrect follow up on medication, patient complains of severe side effects and has to continue suffering. All goods are taken from the patient, patient assaults are noted. Discharge complications. Furniture is brick hard and difficult for older folks with health issues. The food is horrible. NOT RECOMMENDED ON ANY level.

Less than a month working there. The mold in the dishwasher and around drink fountain was horrible. Fake eyelashes everywhere. I personally clean myself while there. They were serving the food items that was out of date to the patients. I gather the out of date only to get verbally attack and watch the person put the items back to serve again. The food is horrible and passes 4 hours of un proper heating before it gets serve to the patients. The warming table doesn't properly work. So hot items/cold items is not properly in it holding temps.
The workers treat the patients is horrible. Cusing at them, laying hands on them. The temps joke about how they will beat the patient, especially on the female unit. Reported to HR was moved to another location last only 3 days there and left. Didn't like how they "solve" issues. PLEASE BELIEVE WHAT THE PATIENTS ARE SAYING. DON'T SEND YOUR FAMILY THERE.

I just recently releases from this place. I thank God we have a facility in this industry here. I think they have a tall order to fill but they are very diligent. Mental health is not an easy battle. A lot of individuals lose their life to depression, substance abuse, or not being able to get the treatment that they need in America. These are cold hard stats without the numbers. However, individuals at this facility and many others that I have been to like Lake Nona VA for example, truly are inspiring and effective if you trust the process. Its good to know there are people 24/7, at the ready, to do their best to provide us with the services we need. I’d love to see this organization grow, I can only pray because I don’t know what else it would take other than a community effort of volunteers and contributors. Thats always America’s secret recipe though, “The People”.

My brother-in-law was admitted into the hospital today for beating the s*** out of my mother. In-law and nothing ever gets done, he keeps ongoing and going and going to the hospital to life streams. Nothing ever gets done They don't change his meds. Don't do nothing. They hold him for 72 hours and release him. My sister-in-law has begged them too. Put him in a state hospital for his own safety. And the safety of others nothing ever gets done

My son went there voluntarily, was there for 5 days. Discharge paperwork shows they had him on 2 different antidepressants, was released with no script. Talked to 4 different people trying to find out why there were no meds given to take until follow up appt a week later. They kept just passing me on to someone else. When time for appt the meds had worn off and he refused to go to appt. The time he was there was wasted, will have to try to start over trying to convince him to get help. Forget a Baker Act, he would just be sent here and when it is time for the mass release on Friday they are done with you. This place is a waste of time, no help for those in need.

i was here in the beginning of 2021 for 72 hours. at the time i was 14 years old and that places was worse than a prison. we were woken up by being shaken aggressively at around 7. you had to fight for a hygiene box to take a shower, and i was only allowed one shower the whole three days. i’m very picky and would be threatened to be forced to stay longer if i didn’t eat everything. at one point there was a 7 year old boy who seemed to be severely autistic or mentally delayed, and he was eating off the floor. when i tried to help him i was yelled at to not talk to boys, and they continued to scream at him to answer a question they asked and when i told them he didn’t seem to speak they said he was faking it. i also was bitten by a younger kid and nothing happened. an older boy was stalking me there who told me he stomped chickens for fun, and when i told staff members they didn’t do anything and dismissed me. literally none of the staff members were nice. i was even more traumatized after.

Some bad and good people work there. It basically shut up do what we want & lock you out of room to go in day room for 15 hrs. I had nausea & diarrhea & squirts & accidents for whole 72 hrs. Definitely food poisoning. Dr was a quack. I had exhaustion with mental break. Talked to 8 people all diagnosed with bipolar. I am 38 autistic not bipolar no history. Med put me on my primary reacted by laughing saying for seizures
