Had a great visit at West Berkeley lifelong medical care it was nice seeing faces that I hadn’t seen in a while. Ms Barbara (front desk) and Ms Angela (lab) This place is great. I’ve been coming since high school. The staff is great. The physicians are great.My son loves coming here for his visits I attended the pregnancy group back in 2014 this place is special to me for forever! ❤️ I highly recommend coming here to get some of your medical needs met I hope they never leave or close !!! ☺️

Their system for establishing primary care is really difficult to navigate. You have to enter a call back number and wait for them to call you within two days. If you aren’t ready with all your information when they call you at the exact moment, you have to call back and then wait another day or two and hope you’re ready then. There is no other way to register. This system is delaying healthcare and is extremely inconvenient.

My over the phone visit was absolutely terrible. And it's very terrifying how incompetent the staff of nurses are at this medical facility. I wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch of lawsuits within the future.

Without even knowing my history the doctor tried diagnosing me with an eating disorder over the phone. Despite both my father and sister both testing for having celiacs diease last year.

Then further proceeds to belittle me by asking if I have a psychiatrist trying to invalidate my experience.

Thank God a previous doctor already referred me to gastro. I only came here to see if I could see a dietitian which they said wasn't an available option to me because I didn't have diabetes.

I wish I could get my 15 minutes back. Would have been better spent reading WebMD. I'm glad I didn't waste time coming in-person.

Follow up: I will be reporting your clinic to the City of Berkeley for your terrible medical practices. I also will be seeking legal justice for the terrible health care services provided by your staff. I also will be filing a complaint to my insurance company about your clinic so they can also start filing a lawsuit for any clients under them that also have been poorly mishandled by your clinic.

I misplaced my sign in information for mychart. I sent along identifying information to receive my log in information but never heard back. Then I called and left a message. The message back was that this issue might take 2 says to resolve. This is inexcusable!

the staff is incredibly warm and caring. and folks think they would get a better deal if they went with a higher priced health insurer, they are dead wrong.

Making an appointment for care is difficult and can take weeks. There is also a large range in how good the doctors are. First one I was assigned was a literal joke. He laughed in my face about my concerns. I complained and got assigned a better dr after. Such is life when you have only medi-cal for insurance.

When seeking to look for primary care provider, I was directed to leave a call back number which does not help me with scheduling an appointment to be seen to confirm I would like to move forwards with this provider.

Run 🏃 Don’t walk This place is Pure Trash. I’ve been in serious pain since Aug 2 with my whole right leg swollen with fluid on my knee . I’ve done Everything they asked me to and they did Nothing. I’ve been in serious pain and it has drove my mental state through the roof . Try being in Constant pain for almost a month you can’t walk you can’t sit. You can’t do anything cause you’re in pain because you have fluid your muscles are cramped up and when you call your doctor, she don’t call you back. She just sent you some fake medicine that don’t have nothing to do with your leg you still in pain because she’s on her health thing she don’t see you she doesn’t call you back nothing for your pain no pain medicine but every time I go to the emergency room, they give me pain medicine right away without me asking and asked me why my doctor having prescribed it because they noticed this is painful because she doesn’t believe in it sorry my pain don’t help me with what you believe in this whole situation has my mental through the roof, but who cares she feels better about her choices but she don’t care about how I feel because that’s not what she believes. I believe she didn’t lost her damn mind.
I took 3 drug test to prove to her I wasn’t on any drugs. Still Not good enough. My pain is a 10 and my level of pissed off is 1000% I have NO complaints about my Mental care provider but I have one hella of problem with their medical care or LACK there of. I’m NOT GOING AWAY 🤬🤬
