Dr. Holstein, is knowledgeable, very professional, thorough, collaborative in his style of interacting, delightful and able to be flexible and share a variety of options for whatever I need when I come to consult with him. I have been a patient of his since 1984 and I value his opinion and his clinical acumen. Scheduling difficulty. I've called on several occasions to schedule with Dr Lester "Chip" Holstein, my new Primary Care Physician, but I was on hold for more than 15 min each time. Could not wait further so I selected to be called back and the prompt said they'll call back in the order the call was received in the queue. Each time, they didn't call back or took a long time. Today, I was caller 13, and after 16 min, I opted to be called back when I reached #7 in the queue. It took them more than 45 min to call back. I called to schedule an annual physical exam, but they said they cannot provide that service on my first visit. I'd have to come in and establish patient record and then schedule the annual physical checkup. Today is 8/12 and the next available date is 9/17. Assuming the scheduling times are similar, the appt that I might be able to get an annual exam appt would be around mid to late October...more than 2 months from today. And that exam would probably result in ordering blood test for which I'd have to schedule a follow up for the doctor to interpret the results would be another month after that in November, near Thanksgiving. Goodbye Dr. Holstein.

He takes my input, evaluates my condition, then provides a range of treatments…keeping me informed about each treatment & how it relates to my condition and/or the other recommended treatments. I always feel heard and well informed after seeing dr. Holstein. I have been happy with every provider and support staff in Dr. Holstein’s office.
