Horrible customer service! Don't know why I'm surprised since it's literally run out of a house. My daughters had appointments scheduled TWO MONTHS OUT. Two days before their appointment they call and cancel saying the doctor is taking their off days. Then my wife gets a text to confirm the appointment so she calls to find out if it's canceled or isn't it. They say "yeah we just need to reschedule". My wife declined and they just proceeded to hang up on her. Super unprofessional staff. Find ANY other place for your medical needs. Unless you're their friends I guess.

When I called to make my appointment (I believe the woman I spoke to was named Veronica) I explained what happened and she was very sweet while helping me schedule. I was attempting to do a walk in due to having a panic attack at work while operating a forklift and my work is requiring some paperwork to be able to remove my forklift license. She was very nice about the whole situation and actually seemed to feel bad that I couldn’t go sooner. I’m going in today to get my papers needed and will update my review once I actually go in

Every single time I come here, even with an appointment, I sit around for at least an hour and a half before ever being seen. It took me 2.5 hours to get a drs note to return to normal duty at work tonight, and I had a freaking appointment
I'm over it, going to find a new Drs office

I told the nurse taking me back that I had “white coat syndrome” she was nice but didn’t really say much, I told her that my BP would be high and that I had already checked it earlier the same day and it was normal……she left the room after doing all the questions and vitals and then the doctor came in, no introductions, I’ve never seen this doctor, and says “let me see your throat”, very bad bedside manner. I was trying to tell her about my BP readings and she kept cutting me off telling me I need to be seen for my high BP, I kept trying to tell her I have a primary care physician that knows about my anxiety and I relay to her my normal readings I take at work and home. She then asked why I didn’t go see her today…… I did not feel like my best interests and comfort were cared for at all, this was Dr Mira. Very disappointing.

Anna is the best doctor I've ever had. She listens to all my concerns and I went in for a pap and it was the easiest one I've ever had. Sh calmed my nerves on getting them done again!

My mother has known and seen Dr. Cristiano for well over 30 years and held him in very high regards. I started taking her to' appointments a few years ago anything negative. Over the last year or so, I have seen a rapid decline in the service provided by Lansing Family Health Center. Our last visit was the tipping point. When I made the appointment, I stated the reason and a couple of other documents that I wanted to get completed while I was there. We arrived for the appt as scheduled; however, we had to wait another 30-45 min. before we were called back. After spending another 30-45 with the intake nurse, we had to wait for the doctor. Doctor comes in reviews labs, call in a script and goes to send us on our way before I stopped her because she wasn't addressing our other needs. FINALLY, we start making progress with one of the office personnel on one of the forms. I After 4 1/2 long hours we left the office with the understanding that the form would be mailed after it's signed by the doctor. A week later, the form still had not been received. I called and left 3-4 voicemails. After 72 hours without a callback, I finally called the front desk and they said it was mailed the day before. I asked to speak to the office manager and ended up being routed to a voicemail.

Given the overall decline of this practice and personnel, I would avoid this practice.

If this is your only option, they do have walk-ins all of the time. This actually might be easier than making an appointment.

I came in as a walk in. I got into a room fairly quickly. But then I ended up being there for three hours and I was confused because there was no one else in the waiting room while I was. Nurses disregarded what I said. When my labs they came back and questioned me and acted surprised.. when I already told them about the details they were questioning. During my almost three hours there, I received zero updates as far as what the hold up was, how much time it would be until I saw a doctor. I was with the doctor maybe 5 minutes and asked her for a note for work. That was pointless. I was already in there about 2 hours at that point. So I waited and waited, about 30-45 minutes later with no update once again, I walked out because I was in pain and needed to rest. No staff seemed to notice I had walked out. I felt forgotten, the physical pain I was in was overwhelming, and didn't seem to be considered during my time there. After I left, I received a $20 bill in the mail. No option to pay online, so I attempted to call three different times. Playing phone tag, then when I finally got on the phone with them, the payment system wouldn't work. Such a discouraging experience and I hope under circumstances I never have to go to this place again.

Slow, seemed like they didn't even want to see me, and I was referred to another office to have some other testing done. This appointment was scheduled a month out, took time off for it, and now I cannot have the tests done because paperwork wasn't filled out entirely/properly after visiting the urgent care.

Christiano is my PCM, however, I have only ever met and worked with Joan. SHE IS FABULOUS!! I highly recommend her IF you do NOT need referrals.

The referrals person (Angel, I believe is her name) is quite a challenge to work with. She was quick at first, working with the five of us, then became more difficult. It's to the point of having the referred Dr office rep contact her to get the prior auth sent into our insurance. Even then, the dates are not correct. On one occasion she told me by way of the front desk person over the phone while I was standing at the counter that the referred Dr office handles their own referrals - that's not true and she knows it!
On another occasion I came in to check on a prior auth that was requested on August 26th, she told me she was still working on the Friday after stuff. Something is very wrong here.
The final referral we are still waiting on for my son was requested July 10 and we still don't have it! She sent a note to the referred Dr, but not to the insurance.
I do NOT recommend this office! I do hope Joan moves to a different office so we can see her again.
