My experience at Los Barrios Unidos was Amazing, thanks to Elizabeth Hernandez!. I have been struggling to get Medicaid for my kids for over a year! And Elizabeth Hernandez got my sons and myself (as I am now pregnant) approved so incredibly fast. At the clinic appointment she heard my mother was struggling as well and helped her get my younger sister approved as well!! I will definitely be recommending this place to anyone that needs it. 1000/10 experience, she is so unbelievably kind, and understanding to everyone’s unique needs.

I came to LBU to look for help with finding a health insurance. I was helped by Bethzabe Silva who was extremely knowledgeable and very attentive so that I could find the best insurance that fit me. She made the process a seamless experience for me where I did not have to worry about not having prior knowledge of the application process. I would definitely recommend her to everyone that needs help with this!

My review was deleted but i can do it as many times as i can to let people know that i lost my baby because of the medical negligence of this people and their staff.

My hormone levels went down after a day or 2 that i went to this clinic. They didnt want to see me sooner and stated i should wait to “have a miscarriage”. Literally went by last weeks on July and first weeks of august and still wanted me to wait TILL AUGUST 12 cus they didnt have anything sooner , even though they KNEW MY HORMONE LEVELS WENT DOWN . HORRIBLE CLINIC AND STAFF dont go there just because they have payment plans and its “cheaper”.

I just want to share this experience for whoever is thinking about coming to this place when it comes to THEIR PREGNANCY. I been a patient at this clinic since 2019 regarding my mental health and medication to treat anxiety and depression. When it comes to THAT ID SAY Dr. batson is the best.

But now I am, or was.. going through my first pregnancy. I choose this clinic because i thought as them treating me for my mental health were great, it would of been the same for my pregnancy. BUT I WAS TOTALLY WRONG. Not to mention the front desk people are horribly rude. I went to get my first blood work my HORMONE LEVELS WERE At 21,900 (completely normal and indicates your pregnancy is going well) after a day or 2 i went again , had blood work again and my hormone levels went down to 15,700 which indicated that something wasnt ok with my pregnancy. I saw them beginning of August and had my first sonogram appointment until the 12th. At this point my hormone levles were going down. I CALLED THE CLINIC TO LET THEM KNOW AND ALSO REQUESTED TO BE SEEN SOONER they literally told me i had to wait and/or wait for miscarriage. Are you serious?! So you wee telling me I HAVE TO WAIT TO LOSE MY BABY for you to see me ? MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE & of course i will sue this place. I also got my results through email (lab corp) indicating that i might be diabetic or pre diabetic, and also might be anemic and NOBODY HAS BOTHER TO EVEN CALL AND EXPLAIN WHAT THE RESULTS MEAN ! I mean theres only so much i can do researching on google!! But Aren’t they supposed to be the ones explaining results and also giving you or prescribing medication?! . SO DISAPPOINTED. I LOST MY BABY. Luckily i went to a new gynecologist and they will be able to take care of the rest.. cus also if you dont get appropriate treatment or care you can get an infection and even die. I KNOW ITS HARD TO GET MEDICAL HELP ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU DONT HAVE INSURANCE OR THE MONEY TO PAY OUT OF POCKET but I WILL NOT COME TO THIS CLINIC AT ALL. NOBODY BOTHERS TO EVEN CALL AND EXPLAIN YOUR RESULTS, nobody informs you anything. I HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS WHOEVER MIGHT BE CONSIDERING TO COME HERE JUST BECAUSE “ its cheap” or have “payment plans” i learned the hard way. Dont be a second or third one going through something like this. Its so heart breaking…

LBU is super helpful. I‘ve had nothing but good interactions with the employees. I just got help with the Eligibility Specialist, Bethzabe and if you‘re trying to apply online for benefits I would reccommend reaching out for help with them.

I’ve been coming here for years to the pediatric clinic and not once had a bad experience until now. First time going to the adult clinic by myself and it was quite literally shocking at how badly I was taken care of by Dr. Jhudy Mohan. In my opinion, she was very unprofessional in the way she spoke to me and constantly dismissed me and my concerns.She stepped into the room, barely even introduced herself to me (mind you it was my first time meeting her, so terrible first impression) and immediately started berating me with questions about my weight. After she was done basically interrogating me, she then proceeded to ask to ask me about a vitamin deficiency i had about 2 years ago and whether or not i still had it (how am i supposed to know? i’m not a doctor that’s why i went to go get a physical in the first place) which no i didn’t know if i still had because i hadn’t been back to the clinic since then. she took her stethoscope, told me to breathe deep about twice and was pretty much ready to walk out the door. I’m not the type of person to who’d want to share my personal health information online but for the sake of the review, I will. With one foot out the door she asked me if I wanted to get back on birth control, which is something I actually wanted to discuss with her and go into depth about but she dismissed all of my questions and concerns with quick and careless answers. I wasn’t expecting to get all the answers right then and there but I was expecting to have a doctor who would at least sit down with me and listen to my concerns. My entire visit with her felt like she thought she had something better she could be doing with her time rather than caring for her patients.
