Dr Laurie has been a tremendous help for me; she has helped me learn how to set healthy boundaries, and how to set goals for myself. Coping with Divorce, Covid19, work life balance and how to be ok after leaving my relationship. She listens and helps identify your feelings and gives you tools that help you make decisions and stick with them. I appreciate all her guidance and her ideas and tools made all the difference. I am so thankful for Dr.Laurie!! I have through the years worked with a few different therapists, and I never got past more than 2 or 3 visits with them. She is the first one who I have ever really been comfortable around. She is so easy going, non judgmental, and she just doesn’t listen to you and then you leave. She gives you little assignments to work on between your visits, so that you are actively working on the things you are having problems with. She’s compassionate and she is truly there for you! And the best part for me is that I don’t have to go to her office, she lets you do phone sessions, which has just been amazing for me! I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that she is amazing. She will be able to help you with anything you are going through, so that you don’t have to go through it alone.

I have been working with Dr. Jackson for more than a year now and she has been so helpful. Looking back at where I was and where I am now, there is no question that I wouldn’t have progressed this much without her help. She is very flexible with scheduling and will work with you and your schedule. She has also become my first call in tough situations because I know I can count on her to schedule me in for a phone session within the next 3-5 hours. She is a great listener and will definitely get you to invest the time and energy in yourself to find the root of your problems as she facilitates a constructive and introspective way of thinking. While working with her, you will work through the current difficulties you face while simultaneously developing the capacity to tackle other stressors independently as they present themselves down the road. Dr. Jackson is an advocate for her patients and I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Laurie has pulled me through the worst time of my life. She helped explain all of the trauma I experienced from another person in terms of their psychological illness. She validated the trauma and that processing through it will help in the healing. She has guided me on how to take back my life. Dr. Laurie is available, attentive, kind and knowledgeable.

I had the uncomfortable displeasure of speaking with Laurie over the phone. She mostly spoke about herself over the 45-minute conversation and shared some details that were extremely inappropriate. She responded to my concerns in an emotionally unintelligent manner. I can't wait to pay her and be done with this entire experience.

I gave Laurie a fair amount of time (4 sessions) to prove she was worthwhile. Perhaps she'd be better in person, but with the pandemic, I only did phone appointments with her. She regularly sounded distracted and didn't seem to be paying attention. She loved to talk about herself. Billing was a disaster. Hand-written invoices that were inaccurate, she said she didn't receive payment when the check was actually cashed. I was on a work call once and she beeped in, so I sent her to voicemail. She called again. She left two messages after calling SIX or more times. Each time, I sent her to voicemail. Completely unprofessional.
