Just a heads up no matter how many times they tell you they will do virtual counseling, over the phone, via text confirmation with Dr's info. They are still going to gaslight you when you call them for the appointment and tell you it never happened, and that you need to come to an address you have never heard of in a couple months. Not to worry though when you go to that address after waiting for months they will also tell you the appointment you confirmed was never made. I guess there is some random number out there texting ppl about appointments that don't exist.

I can't say enough about how well I was treated by all the staff at the Friary Pensacola. From check in to check out. The staff are friendly, patient and go the extra mile to make things work. They all have such a positive attitude. My intake interview went smoothly and I felt very safe.
My first visit with Eric Wilkinson gave me a feeling of hope that he understood my issues and and the following visits confirmed that. He recognized what I was dealing with and addressed it directly. It's gotten even better with each visit. Very comfortable.
My experience with my therapist, Maria Rowan was eye opening because she addressed each of my concerns in a way I could understand. She's very approachable and really "knows her stuff"!
She gave me time to talk, which felt so good. I loved that we discussed in depth the what, why and how my of my diagnosis. She gave me assignments that I could see and focus on then we reviewed them at the next visit. She explained the results I presented so I understood and could see a different picture of my feelings. I felt encouraged and so hopeful that I will be able to see and continue to learn how to live more positively, knowing more about myself.
Thank you to ALL the staff staff who treated me so graciously. I really appreciated the reminder calls. I have two calendars and they often didn't match. Raina at check in/out is a jewel.
I'll miss the visits because I always left feeling like I'd just been hugged! I hope the Lakeview Center will continue to be available to our area. They are a treasure!

Worse place to get "help". The Friary almost never answers the phone and you end up having to go downtown to get an appointment. I have spent 30 minutes on hold this morning and still on hold while I write this. I see Ms Calloway and she diagnosed me incorrectly. I have a long history of cyclic severe depression, ocd, and binge eating disorder. Ms Calloway only does virtual zoom visits as she travels and from my understanding does not have a permanent address. She also only works 3 days one week and 2 days the next week. This makes it impossible to reach her in a reasonable time. If you are close to running out of medication, better call 2 weeks ahead and maybe you will get them. She was also not treating my depression which was my main concern and I got to the point I could no longer work. She refused to authorize me for time off from work. I eventually lost my job. Refused to try newer medications as I also suffer from arthritis pain. Only wanted to increase some of the current meds without any real relief. 4 months into this, I asked my general nurse practitioner for help and she consulted another colleague and added Vraylar to my existing medications. 1 month later I am beginning to see some improvement. The entire staff just don't care. They take forever to do anything. Minimum to get FMLA forms completed is 2 weeks and you have to pay $25 for each form. I even had to pay $25 just for a work excuse and they refuse to email anything to you even with a verified email. Everything you need results in going downtown to possibly resolve. If there was anywhere else to go for help I would, but we have a shortage of mental health prescription providers in this area. This has been an ongoing problem for years. My history goes back over 15 years with my mental health issues. I just want help, but they just don't care. What do you expect from a group that is partially funded by the state of Florida. I had been previously had to travel 1 hour to Fairhope, AL from Pensacola, FL just to find help. Regret giving up my Fairhope, AL connections at this point.

Laughably Inefficient to its core. Ancient in how they operate, the only emotion you won’t feel when dealing with this “establishment” is urgency…30 min waits if you’re lucky enough to get a human on the phone. Lucky if a case manager gets back to you that day, etc…
Just an absolute tragedy all around, avoid if at all possible.

The best thing Lakeview Friary has going for it is the patient care representatives who check you in and out. They are phenomenal, compassionate, sympathetic and caring! Unfortunately, the physicians, psychiatric nurse Sarah Skinner, and office manager Amy do not possess these same traits. I was charged for an initial assessment/evaluation (max $350) and Sarah spent less than 15 minutes talking to me, didn't ask me any information about my past traumas or diagnosis, etc. I offered info which a student in training wrote down for her, but I offered it! She spent 15 minutes focusing on making me feel like I was poor and because I was uninsured I should have gone elsewhere. I was in the process of getting insurance and I now have it but would not trust Lakeview with my care now. The office manager, Amy, never followed up with a phone call about the assessment I paid for that I did not receive which should have been made up to me, but too late now.

The front desk staff was very lovely too me. I had questions as to why my copay was $50 instead of the $30 i usually pay for specialists and the lady behind the counter took the time to call my insurance company for me and then explain i was paying by coinsurance for my visit rather than copay. She also let me split my coinsurance payment in half and went ahead and approved my next visit to be called in and paid a few days after the appointment, when I receive my next paycheck. The staff were all so friendly and caring and did everything they could to help me and my situation out. I saw Dr. Fraser and he was very kind and gentle and listened to everything I had to say and worked with me to find the best medication management for me. I look forward to continuing to work with this practice.

I had a problem with the pharmacy not receiving my prescription when my doctor electronically transfered it. The Summit Group was about to close being about 4:40pm. I called for help and connected with Nina in the front office and Nina went above and beyond to help me by reaching out to the case manager Phylis. Nina and Phylis both went well beyond my expectations to resolve the issue and I was able to get my prescription filled that day. Both Nina and Phylis are a credit to your office and every company should have employees this excellent. They were both Caring and professional and got the job done. Thank you so much for your help, the Summit Group is so great and has really helped to change my life for the better. I am grateful to be a patient here. Nina and Phylis are a credit to your practice. Than you again!
