Just wanted to thank the people at LHFM for all of their help. I missed my appointment because I was busy at home and it could have delayed my trip out of town, but they fit me into their schedule for the same day. Thank you so much for working me in for a mistake on my part. I would highly recommend these people so much because they genuinely want to help you and not only take your money. Thanks for all of your hard work.

I've been going here for about 6years now. Ive enjoyed every bit of this place. Its not your regular doctors office atmosphere. I ended up getting a job out of state and ran out of my meds because I'm great at procrastination and couldn't make it back home to have a check up so they worked with me and I had an appointment over the phone and got my meds the same day from the local Walmart. DR.Carrington and Ms.Kayla and the team are amazing, always in a good mood and ALWAYS in and out quick. Highly recommend!

My husband and I use Dr Carrington. My husband was one of Dr Carrington’s first patients and we love him. He is never in a hurry and listens to what we discuss with him. We always refer him to anyone in need of a physician. Also, we never have wait any longer than any of the other patients there.

I have struggled with what rating I would give Lake Hamilton but I have settled on just 1 star. I think both Dr. Parchman & Dr. Carrington themselves are good but their staff is horrible.

First off both the doctors have to realize that on a frequent basis they make their patients wait upwards to 60 minutes. So I do give some of the blame to the doctors because they are aware that they are wasting the patients time. Both doctors seem to care about each patient & don't rush you once they make it to the room.

When we moved to the area in 2013 & looked for an office the first appointment for 2 of my girls took 65 minutes until we even got out of the waiting area ( all paperwork was submitted prior to first appointment since I had picked it up & filled it out prior to first appointment) but still had about 30 minutes more of waiting until doctor arrived in room.

My youngest daughter had to go every 3 months due to a medicine she was on & I would say about 1 out of 3 visits had a long long wait. Then my husband starting going & had very long waits too but overall thought the doctor cared.

About a year after 2 of my girls & husband started to go & with the only complaint ever even mentioned was a long waits, we needed rest of the family to see a doctor & they said NO! They had a new policy & the doctor needed to "interview" the patient before adding them. Anyhow we didn't have time for that & ultimately found an awesome doctor for rest of the family.

The one daughter who went for 4 years on average 4-5 times a year & they forgot to give her one of her booster shots. I found this out recently because we moved again & the new doctor office found the missing shot. I called Lake Hamilton & they were not apologetic & pretty much lacked any straight answers on how they missed it.

Also back March 2018 when they recently switched systems I had a very rude encounter with Ashley. She was so flippant & had to argue about if I had already been seen while the new system was implemented. No customer Service skills at all. I did a formal complaint to office manager but honestly I feel like it doesn't go past the front desk.

Bottom line: they really don't seem to value the patient's time & hire support staff that need better training. You could be the best doctor but if your staff can't manage an appointment book, customer service, or shot records then it really doesn't matter how nice the doctor is because nice doesn't heal a wound or fix the medical problem.

They don't always call with test results, you have to call them about half the time. Plus pharmacy struggles to get refills because Lake Hamilton's fax is always busy.

Dr. Carrington was my family Dr for about 3 years when he dropped me as a patient and reported false information on me. Be careful not to state your opinion on your health status because those who smile at you also stab you in the back.

I love Dr Carrington & his staff...they are always very friendly so I can't understand anyone having a problem with any of them. I have been going to him for several years now & would never consider changing doctors!
