This facility isn’t amazing!
The staff is really great with the patients, very attentive and kind.
They are in fact well staff and not under staff. This makes a great difference in the way the CNAs operate and treat everyone.
They have a gym, library, open area, smoking area, dining room, cafeteria and vending machines.
The whole place is kept clean, organized and well maintained.

My loved one was so unhappy with the service and food at Lake Bennet. I will briefly say the food was terrible and it would arrive cold. This place also had bugs/roaches.

When my loved one arrived at Lake Bennet, not one employee came in right away to undress and have my loved one comfortable. This was the first impression upon arriving.

Some of the worst CNA's or nurse assistants at this place were Keke who worked on the overnight shift, doesn't wash up the patient properly or barely at all, would have poor excuses of why she couldn't come and changed my loved one. The overnight crew is lazy and will only change the patient once and do not respond right away when the call light button is on. Working overnight is not as busy as other shifts because most patients will be sleeping except the ones that are bed rest and not able to get up and go to the restroom so they need to be changed and washed up often so they don't get diaper rash etc and if they had surgery may need to be turned every couple of hours so they don't get bedsores etc.

Rose was another CNA or nurse assistant who worked different shifts, was quiet and sneaky, she had another CNA or nurse assistant come yell at my loved one when I wasn't there, Maria another CNA or nurse assistant appeared to be nice but she wasn't, Thresa was another CNA or nurse assistant and I wasn't crazy about her and I'm sure there are other CNA's that are horrible, I just didn't get their names. Some CNA's don't wear a work badge or they have it flipped around so you can't see their names so you have to ask what their names are, if they give you the right name. They do it purposely. Also, they don't introduce themselves when they enter the room and say hi, my name is such and such and I'll be you CNA or nurse assistant for today.

Debra who is one of the nurses also appeared to be ok at the beginning but later changed and was evil and mean. As a nurse she is the one who is suppose to give the medicine to the patients but she would pass it on to the CNA or nurse assistant because she was impatient and didn't want to wait if the CNA or nurse assistant was doing something for the patient. How do you even know if the patient will receive it that way. The CNA or nurse assistant might forget to give the medicine to the patient if that isn't their job duty. Her license needs to be revoked and she needs be fired along with the CNA's or nurse assistants I just mentioned

Some physical and occupational therapist were good and some were not.

I will say out of all the bad CNA's or nurse assistants there were a few good ones, Millicent, Yolando and Melissa. Also, Christian the supervisor was good and Patty the supervisor tried but didn't try harder but the bad still outweighs the good so I do not recommend Lake Bennet. If you see good reviews on this place, its a lie. Never again!!!!!!!!

I want to give credit where it’s due: the clinical staff at Lake Bennett Rehab is skilled and knowledgeable. They do their jobs well, and I appreciate the care and expertise they bring to the table. However, I noticed that they could be more attentive to the needs and concerns of patients and families. Sometimes it felt like they were stretched too thin to provide the level of personalized care that patients deserve.

That said, the administrative side of Lake Bennett Rehab is a completely different story. My experience with the administration was disheartening. They were manipulative, rude, and seemed more focused on squeezing as much money as possible out of vulnerable families than on providing compassionate service. It felt like they prioritized profit over patients, which is unacceptable in a facility meant to help people during difficult times.

While the clinical staff may give you confidence in the care, the negative experience with the administration left me questioning whether this is the right place for those seeking genuine and respectful support. Families deserve better than this.

My mom was in pretty bad shape, but the nursing staff did not did waver. They are a special bunch. Professional and personal…really do seem to care. With their care and attention, my mom bounced back and doing shockingly well. Thank God for Lake Bennet. The Best decision my family could have made. Thank you Staff…Sabine, you make my mom feel special. You’re not the only one there that does, but a very special thanks to you from me personally because I’m from out of town and you even made me feel like my mom is important to you!

This facility provides excellent care for their residents. It’s very clean and organized. The staff members are caring and helpful. It’s a great place for parents and grandparents if one is looking for a long term placement for seniors.

start with the receptionist at the front door excellent service very people friendly nurses are excellent. I have no problems with him. The only thing that we had problems with was was my wife’s food she wrote down. She did not get other than that. I would recommend like men rehabilitation center to anybody

Prior to selecting this facility, I previewed it, meeting with staff and touring. I toured several (5) facilities. I told ORMC, where patient was inpatient, that we could only use a VA contracted facility so that the would be no time constraints on therapies and the CASE MANAGER at ORMC stated unequivocally that Lake Bennett was such a facility. It was only after meeting with patient, and staff after admisdion that i found out the facility WAS NOT VA contracted. This fact limited the length of care this patient could receive before there would be a hefty co-pay that patient would not be able to afford. What a shame and incompetence on the past of ORMC!!!

Patient says staff at Lake Bennett is very good and he didn't have any complaints. This was my observation as well. Patient seems to be progressing in therapies as well. Unfortunately, patient will be forced to leave before he has received MMI and relegated to out patient therapies as home health has proven not to be comprehensive enough.

There is one unresolved issue at this facility. ALL of patients clothes were taken from room and somehow lost and not returned. The staff is concerned and"working" on the issue. The real problem was there was NO talk, discussion, or instruction on "patient clothing" during our first meeting. I brought a labeled bag for patient's dirty laundry. When I would come in, it would all be gone. I pray this issue does not happen for other guests of Lake Bennett as I did talk with management to make certain instructions are CLEAR.

Facility is clean including the dining room. Patient's pet is also allowed and that was appreciated. Overall, this was NOT a bad experience
