I am so grateful for finding LVD. I called and toured several facilities before choosing LVD and am so glad I decided to go into treatment there. If you truly want to get help and begin building the life you deserve, this is the place to go. Whereas other centers focused on closing a deal with me and werent very personable, Jenn @ LVD seemed to really care about my wellbeing from the get go. This feeling that they actually care about helping me was solidified by every single member of their staff to the point where I bonded with all of them and was sad to leave...

While having staff that actually cares is crucial and rare among treatment centers, their process really sets them apart for building the right foundation/mindset to truly change. Their process helps residents heal our Mind, Body, and Soul. I learned that if any of those 3 aren't doing well, the other 2 are affected, which leads to relapse or general unhappiness in life. This is why just a short detox almost never works. Any center can help with medical detox and that first step helps our Body. For the "Mind" aspect, good therapists are hard to find and Joy was an absolute pleasure to work with. The disease of addiction is a product of our minds and being a smaller facility, their custom tailored psychological treatment guarantees they can do what's best for you instead of the "cookie cutter" approach at larger facilities. Lastly, the "Soul" aspect here is something I didn't expect to find, but probably helped the most. The staff and contracted visitors/counselors helped me learn how to love and respect myself again, which in turn helped me rebuild relationships with all of my family/friends lost during my addiction. It took an open mind and seemed weird/scary at first, but whatever they did worked! I don't feel like my recovery would be nearly as successful as it has been so far if it wasn't for their methods and staff there.

All in all, if you can be honest with yourself that alcoholism/addiction doesn't benefit your life and that you deserve to feel happy while sober, then this is the place to go. If you're looking at rehabs, there's undoubtedly that inner voice telling you life can, must, and will be better if you surrender to a legit program. If you can leave your ego at the door and keep an open mind that these experts can guide you to your happiness, I promise the program @ LVD will change your life.

Staying at LVD to start my road to recovery was the best thing I have ever done for myself and I hope anyone considering this place will enjoy the same success I have.
