I am relatively new to this place, having been here for less than a year. However, I must say, every single experience I’ve had so far has been exceptional. From the friendly and professional staff to the knowledgeable and attentive doctors, the care has been outstanding.

The doctor I see is fantastic—thorough, patient, and detail-oriented. They take the time to review everything carefully and explain things clearly, offering thoughtful recommendations for next steps. I always leave appointments feeling confident in the care I’m receiving.

Before coming here, I had heard mixed reviews about the VA, but my personal experience has been nothing short of impressive. From day one, I’ve been met with a high standard of service that exceeds expectations.

Additionally, the facility itself is incredible—it looks brand new and is always pristine. The environment is clean, well-organized, and inviting, which adds to the overall positive experience.

Overall, I’m incredibly satisfied with the treatment I’ve received. The combination of excellent doctors, skilled staff, and a top-notch facility makes this place truly stand out.

This facility is fantastic. 100% baffling to see any negative reviews, because after several appointments here, the experience has been nothing short of excellent. The doctors are great (Dr Roman specifically), always listening and trying to help. The nurses are great. The front desk staff has always been amazing and helpful. What people fail to realize is the volume of patients the team must work with-it's like they expect bedside service! Thank you Laguna Hills VA for everything you do!

Well. I'm mystified by the one-star reviews here. I've read many of them, and they are not at all descriptive of my experience at this clinic. All staff members from reception to the doctor have been highly courteous and competent. I have not had unreasonable wait times for anything. All the interactions between staff and patients that I've witnessed have been professional and appropriate as well. Admittedly, I do not have complex needs. It's a shame that some have had bad experiences here but based on my own limited experience I think it's great.

I showed up today for my first ever appointment with the VA outside of active duty.

The two times in the past that I tried making an appointment, the waiting was about 3 - 4 months, insane! So I gave up for about a year lol.

I was finally able to make an appointment a few weeks back for today, so it was much better than 3 months.

They do open exactly at 8 am, on the dot. And makes sure that you come as early as possible for your appointment just to make sure. It does get busy. It is a small VA Center.

My appointment today was at 8 am. I got there at 7:30 am and there were a few cars already waiting. But the check-in was quick (With Appointments).

The ladies at the front desk were very kind (Not the normal for a VA Facility, 5 stars on that).

Then inside the lab, the lady taking my blood was also very nice and friendly. Quick with her tasks!

They have computer access in the back, 1 computer if you need to check your VA healthcare services. They also have a coffee machine, but I did not see any coffee (Maybe they just forgot to put it out). They also had lots of donut in the entrance lol.

They also do require mask to enter the building, (They provide it). I though POTUS had declared the COVID-19 was “over” lol. Didn’t like that at all, but whatever.

Parking is plenty.

Make sure you have an appointment, things will run a lot smoother!

They hardly return calls, if they do at all. I have been trying to get labs done for an over a month now. I live 5 minutes south of the clinic and just got referred to go to Long Beach, a 45-50 min drive to do my lab's. Have to take off 3hrs off from work for labs, really!

So far so good. Front desk could be a little friendlier and refrain from complaining about patients in front of patients. Otherwise I think the staff are doing a good job.

Excuse the name, this hospital will require you to make an appointment for absolutely everything and I’ve been told to wait multiple months between each appointment. Can’t do much at this clinic anyway, you’re better off going to emergency room or urgent care

This clinic is disrespectful of veterans. Good luck with seeing any doctor or even talking with a doctor. The lack of proper care is absurd. The call center rarely answers the phone. When I was in the office the call center was having a party with their coworkers nobody answered any calls while I was there. They were too busy joking with each other. Go anywhere else but here!
