Some of the positive reviews for LPT include:

Megan did a great job understanding and treating my needs relative to pain alleviation. She taught me a few exercises that helped at various times during the day.

I would highly recommend the LPT location in Pleasant Hill as you get undivided, personal attention in a smaller setting. The entire staff was very supportive throughout the journey.

I plan to go back there if I need more help.

Thank you Megan, Brenda, Alessia and the rest of the team.

I highly recommend Lafayette Physical Therapy. I just completed an 8 week program associated with a full knee replacement and was very pleased with the expertise, experience and guidance that was provided to me. The facilities are very nice and they have a good inventory of exercise and rehab equipment.

Subject: Feedback on First Visit Experience at Lafayette PT

I was referred to Lafayette Physical Therapy and had high hopes, as I associate PT with compassion, guidance, and growth. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations and left me disappointed.

First, the intake process felt unnecessarily complicated. I was directed to complete paperwork via the Raintree portal, which was heavy on mental health questions—surprising given that I was seeking support for a physical injury. Upon arrival, I was told my forms were incomplete, and I was asked to fill out three more—many of which repeated the same questions. It made me wonder why a streamlined, single form isn’t an option.

Post-visit, I was sent a list of exercises through a completely separate portal, Wibbi, which only added to the confusion. For a practice that positions itself as modern and integrated, the digital experience felt fragmented and frustrating.

During the actual evaluation, the provider did not introduce themselves, and the clinical explanations leaned heavily on jargon. It took multiple follow-up questions on my part to understand the issue and treatment approach, which turned out to involve scapular weakness and rotator cuff pain—something I had to piece together myself.

Lastly, I was surprised to learn Lafayette PT doesn’t accept Blue Shield PPO and was immediately encouraged to book 10–12 sessions due to limited availability. The main therapy space was crowded and didn’t feel conducive to personalized care.

I sincerely hope this feedback is taken as a constructive opportunity to improve both patient experience and communication. At its best, physical therapy can be transformative—unfortunately, my first impression didn’t reflect that.

The staff is fantastic. Very knowledgeable and knew exactly what exercise I needed to do. I was able to get through the tough road of rehab. Front desk was also very helpful in getting insurance and appointments setup. Highly recommend.

My husband Bill had a great experience. He presented with a difficult nerve pain and the PT's were able to identify the correct nerve and provide Therapy that cleared up the problem. Also provided a good routine for on going maintenance

This was my first experience with physical therapy. I used the Pleasant Hill location. I was experiencing a combination of knee, shoulder and neck pains.
My therapists Megan and Gary were excellent. They complemented each other well with my twice per week visits. The home exercises can be overwhelming, but they worked and helped quickly in my quest to overcome pains. It takes commitment. Sessions alone are not enough.
All staff were friendly and helpful. The facility was pleasant and welcoming for visits. I highly recommend Lafayette Physical Therapy.
