My daughter has gone to Shari Adams for four years. The first two years, the practice she was with was an out of network provider, so I as a single mother, going through a divorce, and a deadbeat ex. I maxed out three credit cards paying $400-$600 a month to put my daughter in therapy. We lived 25 minutes away. When Shari moved to Krueger Wellness, nine minutes further, we followed. She had been at Krueger for two years. So for a total of four years, bi-weekly, Shari has been her therapist. She has truly done an amazing job working with my daughter. NOT ONE time have we been no-show or canceled any appointments. I also work in the health care industry, and work about fifty hours a week. This week I dropped the ball and forgot to cancel my daughter’s 3:00 Monday afternoon appointment. She had an after school event she couldn’t miss. So on my way to work this Monday morning, I called and left a message to please cancel her appointment. They called me back at about 9 and told me it was going to be $150 cancelation fee. I explained my situation and apologized for not calling sooner. I was told if I would have left a message, per my contract, on Sunday then I wouldn’t have had to pay. I told her I understand the policy and apologized again. She said she would go ask Miss Shari if they could wave it and would call me back. At 2:54 she called back and said Miss Sheri said we are sticking to our policy and I will have to pay the $150. I don’t think I’m above the rules, but I would have hoped that at a mental heath office, with a therapist my daughter has been with for four years bi-weekly, that they could have given me one pass. Unfortunately she will not be returning.

I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for Dr. Daly of Krueger Wellness. After struggling with PTSD for years, I was at my breaking point. I had gone through several therapists before, each one either leaving or seeming more interested in collecting a check than actually helping me. Dr. Daly was different. Thanks to Dr. Daly, not only have I found my footing again, but my family has found peace, too. She saved my life, and for that, I’ll be forever grateful.

The reason, I am giving the institute a poor review is because, I've been on a waitlist since Nov 2023. Just to be told I CANNOT be seen regarding my issues. I dont like that response. I kept checking in every month to be seen and was told on numerous occasions that, I am "Next in line. The next appointment would be sometime in april." Here we are in April, I call to see when I can get a new patient appointment. "OH, we tried to contact you" (no you didnt) , "were unable to see you regarding your issue" Well, this stink but, thank you for wasting my time. Getting my hopes up.
