I'm honestly surprised at any of the negative reviews here. I'm not going to be so presumptuous as to disagree with their experience but I can tell you about mine. I've been going to doctor Knapp for several years now and whether it's in regard to the doctor himself, his staff, the level of knowledge, expertise, care, response time, or professionalism, I can say, as someone who is markedly dissatisfied with the general level of healthcare in Southeast Arizona (whether it's for adults or children, or in regard to hospitals, GPs, specialists or otherwise), that I couldn't be happier than I am with being a patient of Dr Knapp's. If the rest of the medical care in this region was even 75% as good as what I receive at Dr Knapp's I would be quite happy.

Anyone who has ever been to more than one doctor in their life knows that it's never perfect. Well, after reading the previous bad review for Dr. Knapp I just had to come on and disagree.
1st, it seems that 90% of the time most people will only bother to come on and give a review if they are upset about something, and generally, happy people just don't bother.
Dr. Knapp's office didn't want to accept me as a new patient at first on such short notice, they were booked, that's understandable. But they got me in anyway. My appointment was on time. The staff was more than friendly. When I saw the doctor, he took his time and was smart about all my problems and I left a very happy customer! He earned his money.
I'm not the best at words and I'm sure I'm leaving some things left out of my experience, but I must say... this was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a doctor. And I've had many.
Lastly I must disclaimer, my name is also "Knapp". I am of no relation.
I will recommend Dr. Knapp to anyone... and I already have.

Dr. Knapp is a wonderful physician who provides excellent care to his patients. However, his office staff is HORRIBLE. The receptionist in the front considers herself a medical professional and she most certainly is not. It is impossible to reach a human being when contacting this office, and forget leaving a voicemail! They never respond. It took them six months to cash a check from us and we had to fight to get them to even do that! Incredibly unprofessional office. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for care.

Saw the poor review from a patient made some 4 years ago. Suspect that person was maybe just having a bad day. The receptionists at Dr. Knapp's office are nothing but very pleasant and very professional. You can get an appointment with Dr. Knapp in just 1 or 2 days which is great and far better than most doctor's offices here in Sierra Vista. Dr. Knapp himself is also very professional, very thorough, listens very intently, and is very thoughtful in his diagnoses. He also accepts Tricare. Dr. Knapp is a great alternative to the Military hospital on Fort Huachuca - it can take 1-2 weeks to get an appointment there. Glad I switch to him a few years back. He is a great Doctor, and has a great Practice.

Dr. Knapp has been my doctor for over 16 years. I have never once had a bad experience with him or his office. He is always very professional and friendly with me. Always makes me feel welcome.

Dr. Knapp has been our family doctor since 1994. I've never had a problem with his staff or anyone else in his office. We've always received excellent care from him. We've not had any major health issues and have been lucky so far in that respect.
I called his office today because I aggravated a minor rotary cuff tear and got an appt. to see him in 4 hours. Try that with most others PCP's.

I too had to come on and disagree with that one guy who gave a very poor review. I have been a patient of Dr. Knapp for several years and I have never had a bad experience. Sometimes the "patient" is NOT always right. Kudos to Dr. Knapp and his staff!

Dr. Knapp and his staff were great. We lived in Sierra Vista for about 3 years. He always stayed on top of our medical issues. The office follow up was excellent.
