The best experience I’ve had dealing with mental health providers. TMS therapy works and thanks to the great staff and compassionate Dr. Bindal my son will be doing TMS as well. Easy phone appointments, quick responses for prescription refills or changes needed to medications.

I am only talking about the Chula Vista location since speaking over the phone with the Sorrento Valley location was always a good experience. I went here for over 2 years and the receptionists were always rude. The first psychiatrist I got here was also very rude and when I brought up my suspicions of having ADHD he didn’t do a screening and told me to “play chess.” I went to another psychiatrist who was very polite and gave me a proper adhd screening and I was diagnosed with ADHD.
I decided to come back here after my psychiatrist wasn’t in the area anymore. I got Dr. Donna Grandi and while she was mostly polite at first, she did get a bit unprofessional at the end. She demanded me to cancel my doctors appointment while I was in the waiting room so that I can have a phone appointment with her after she was late for our earlier appointment. I complained about this to the office but I doubt they took this seriously since this is a mental health clinic unfortunately. It doesn’t seem likely you’ll have a good experience here unless you meet with Dr. Bindal since he seems to have great reviews.

From the beginning of starting to schedule this treatment to the end. No complaints , even at times where I had to come in late or reschedule this office and this staff was so understanding and able to help me so much. everything was such an understanding process and the procedure was timeless and painless. The staff was amazing 10 out of 10. I definitely can’t thank them enough. wish I could get more than five stars. And it definitely a special thank you to Dr Bindal for changing my life and recommending TMS after my trail with seeing thousands of different doctors and those different doctors recommended all these different meds that didn’t work. I finally found Dr Bindal who changed my life with this procedure that helped me from taking medication on a daily to none at all and I’m so grateful for him.

Dr. Bindal continues to be wonderful!

I find his office staff really easy to get in touch with - I changed my insurance and they were very responsive to my inquiry on how to get my new info over.

Dr. Bindal was also AMAZING when I quickly needed an accommodation letter and then needed edits on it.

The telehealth appointments are also great - I don’t have to take off work to make my medication refill appointments which means it’s easier for me to not miss them! We also schedule our next appointment during the current one so I never have to remember about doing it and they send plenty of reminder texts.

If you want someone who truly cares consider Dr. Bindal! I know if I’m ever facing an issue or need more help he’s only a phone call away.

I regret to say that my experience with this psychiatrist has been very disappointing. There seems to be little to no connection between the psychiatrist and the patient, which is crucial in building trust and effective care. Appointments are extremely brief, often lasting only about five minutes over the phone, leaving no room for meaningful discussion or understanding of my concerns.

Mental health care requires compassion, attentiveness, and a genuine connection, and unfortunately, I did not experience that here. I hope improvements are made for the benefit of future patients.

Also, it is very ironic to treat mental health over the phone without ever seeing the patient in person.

I have notice the difference every time I go get my TMS treatment it helps me a lot. The girls at the front desk are always motivational they need a bonus 😊 I am glad that my boss referred me to Dr Bindal. It is not easy to deal with mental health issues but I am working very hard.

Dr. Bindal and his team have changed my life in the most positive way. Did a full tms regiment and now after care. He really does care, and the ladies up front and really helpful. Would recommend 1000% to take care of your mental health. Once that's good, everything else just falls into place
