The lady at the front desk was probably the rudest lady I’ve encountered in years! Brought our son for a psychical and she was very ugly to my husband demanding insurance when my husband told her he was told he wouldn’t need to show insurance which was true! If you are gonna have people as the front desk that people talk to first make sure they are respectful to your patients!

After using them for several years, I am completely disappointed in the place. They kept sending me notices I owed on my daughters account, I called and kept getting told I didn’t owe anything, and they sent her account to collections EVEN though I was told not to pay it. Receptionist was difficult to deal with. Rude. I won’t be using them again even though it was my preference before.

We are frequent patients at Killen Urgent Care and have been since they opened. With three children, we've been for almost everything. We've always been pleased with the timelines we have been seen and the professional treatment we have received. They are always kind and thorough.

I wouldn't give them a star at all if possible. I've taken two of my grands in a span of Friday to Friday. The first time the chn had fevers, nausea, cough, & sinus drainage. And I felt the one had ear infections so I requested the FNP to look at her ears. I was bullied into strep & flu tests. Both negative. I firmly said NO to Covid test. Was told to clean out their ears because Tiffany, FNP--C, said she couldn't "see past the wax" Left with no answers other than "plenty of rest & fluids".
Fast forward to next Friday (yesterday) I took the child with the ear infection back because she's still running fever & miserable, croupy cough, and hard of hearing. The same FNP-C, Tiffany, was extremely RUDE AGAIN. Complained she couldn't see through wax. (Although my daughter said she DID clean the grand daughter's ears). I had to request that Tiffany gently clean what was needed so she could see. Because I strongly felt that my grand had a bad ear infection. Tiffany ROLLED HER EYES AT ME. But proceeded to clean ears. She was NOT gentle with my 6 year old grand daughter. Once "cleaned", which I never saw any wax coming out of the ears. Sure enough, BAD ear infections in BOTH ears & One was ruptured! Meaning! She'd had this infection since the Friday before when Tiffany refused to DO HER JOB!
This time she said she would Rx an antibiotic and some ear drops. Great! I tried to remain nice & I calmly requested the antibiotic to please not be amoxicillin. I know that's the "go to" but it does my Grands zero good! Tiffany looked at me like I'd asked her stand on her head while going to the moon. With a big "Hmmph" she agreed. We left. Proceeded to 2 pharmacies before being told that ceftinir is on backlog and many if not all pharmacies are out of it. Ok, my daughter & I called around until we found it. Rx filled and home. Tiffany finally returns my daughter's call from earlier. Tiffany let it slip that she was aware that ceftinir was difficult to find at this time. WHO DOES THAT? Who PURPOSELY writes Rx KNOWING the patient will have difficulty?!!!! RUDE doesn't even cover how this was beyond NON-Professional !!!
I think we now know why there's rarely any cars in their parking lot! BEWARE
On a brighter note, the front desk lady & young blonde nurse who takes vital signs & shows us to the room were both SUPER NICE on both visits. But that Tiffany FNP-C, she needs to lose her "God's gift to humanity" attitude

I don’t believe I’ve ever been treated as outrightly rude as my daughter and I were at KUC this afternoon.

She told me when we got in the car, that she refused a shot from the doctor because “she was being so aggressive” and that she was afraid the woman would hurt her purposefully.

I was shocked to find a medical practitioner acting so belligerent for no reason.
