Dr. Karimian is beyond a doubt the best Dr. In the High Desert. I gave her 5 🌟 stars because she is kind, brilliant, compassionate,
And listens! , but I give 4 stars overall to the difficulty in trying to reach her or have her staff even return your call. I have been experiencing a major issue that Dr. Karimian her self instructed me to call her. I left several calls and not even a return call from the staff (that I happen to admire). I understand office's get busy, but I have been suffering for a over a week, needlessly. But I still highly recommend this Dr Karimian and her office. I've been to several pain mgmt Dr's in the last 5 yrs, and approximately 3 yrs ago when I found Dr. Karimian I've stayed with her.

Dr. Karimian is an excellent and very compassionate doctor. I was in severe pain and relying on a cane when I met her. Within 2 months I’m walking normally on my own and my pain is minimal! I was able to stop taking pain medications. The only reason I took away one star is because it is extremely difficult to get a message to her when my prescription was not called in. Her Palm Desert office phone tree kept connecting me to Donya Spa. The spa employees had no idea why I was calling there and would keep telling me to call the Palm Desert office! I did speak with staff on 5 occasions who promised a return call same day and I never once got a return call or resolution. I even showed up in person one time thinking that would solve the issue. I did let Dr. karimian know about the phone issues and not receiving promised return phone calls from staff. She listened and promised to work on it. I would still highly recommend her if you are in pain and need help. She gave me hope and gave me my life back. I’m ever so grateful.

He assist calls us on phone not dr.K. calls meds in but doesn't check see if pharmacy has that med. She expects us to do foot work calling her off ice and pharmacy and go days no meds.

I had Dr Karimian in 2016 and she was great. I was taking 100mcg fentanyl that Kaiser put me on. She helped me get off of it by reducing the amount I took each month. We reduced it to 75mcg. It was fine at first until I ended up in the hospital with sepsis after I had dental work where he removed all of my teeth. I almost died because I didn’t get to the hospital soon enough. My husband called 911 and they said I was having a heart attack. It ended up being broken heart syndrome because the dentist was so cruel to me and hurt me so bad but they did say if I had come to the hospital 4 hours later I would have died. The hospital would not let me have fentanyl because they were giving me hydromophone for 16 days. When I went back to Dr Karamian she gave me Norco for pain and we gradually stopped taking it. When I say we I mean she and I made the decision. Helping me stop Norco was the best thing anyone has ever done for me. I am taking it now because I really need it for pain. Things are not like they were back then but she is helping me with pain now. Things are different now. She is also giving me injections. She is an anesthesiologist and very good at giving injections.

One of the best Dr's Ive ever had. If your looking for a Dr who listens and is sympathetic to your wants and needs then she's the one. She doesn't just hand out meds either which is awesome seeing ive been highly overly medicated before and its not good when your a single mom.

Dr. karimian and her staff is awesome. Dr. K is a very qualified pain management Dr. She is very knowegable and very sweet Dr. She is also a very attentive Dr. And really cares about her patients. I have been going there for years and would highly recommend her to anyone who is in pain. I will not go to any other Dr. In the high desert. Her staff is also very good and on top of things.
