Dr. E. Diaz is an awesome PCP. He takes his time to listen and advise steps to correcting issues. A welcome change from my prior PCP who didn't do much at all. Very happy with Kanan thus far, and conveniently the office is close to my house..

Dr Barbie aka Dr. Amir is horrible. Did not take his time to address my concerns, and after waiting for 20 mins to see him, he took 10 mins to see me and said he was slammed today and would have to cut our appointment short. Mind you I drove from New Smyrna. He was extremely unprofessional and I left thinking maybe the large amount of fillers he put in his face has infiltrated in his brain?

I used to be with Dr. Mills for years, and the Kimberly Keech, and they were both great. The new nurse practitioner repeatedly kept interrupting me multiple times when i was speaking. I corrected him, then not 2 minutes later he does it AGAIN. I literally had to snap at him to get him to stop so he would actually pretend to listen. Miss Keech is practicing elsewhere in the orlando area, i tracked her new office down and will quickly be moving my records there. I really liked this office being close to my house, but i just cant deal with such a disrespectful medical staff.

Horrible customer service! I have send several messages & called the office because they billed the incorrect insurance, even though the correct one was provided to them . No one returns calls or messages through their " so called portal", but they make sure to harass patients for payment they're not even responsible for. Simply because they don't do their job properly. or care to even solve issue's that they created for no reason. When Kimberly Keech left this practice went downhill!

Kimberly Keech is a wonderful NP. Kimberly has walked me back from the edge a couple of times after I did the ole Internet doctor about some ailments I had. She was kind, understanding and empathetic. The medical industry would be so much better with more folks following Kimberly's example.

I have found a real person in health care, and I will tell anyone who will listen that Kimberly Keech is my health care pro! The entire staff at the Marshall Farms Rd office for Kanan medical has my vote! - This was my review...with a rating of 5 ⭐s.

After Kim Keech left, the true nature of Kanan has been exposed to me. Since she left the quality of service has fallen off a cliff. Getting an appointment, the quality of care, getting prescriptions sorted, and having any kind of follow up for the care I am getting is a joke.

I am on a number of meds that really require regular blood tests to see how they are performing. With Kim, she would check on every visit and made regular office appointments. Since she left that level of care is gone.

They overacted to my wife's kidney status, which left us panicked that she has stage 3b kidney disease. They told us that she needed to see the endocrinologist that she was in renal failure. As it turns out, she was dehydrated during the initial test, after countless tests and visits with the nephrologist it was clear that she was just dehydrated, her kidneys were fine.

Don't get me started on the constant battle it is to get a prescription. If they call in the right thing, you still have to follow up over and over to make sure they are providing documentation requested by the insurance company.

Finally, I tried to get an allergy shot, which I have had a dozen times in the last 4 years. Now suddenly, Kanan doesn't do that. In the call I had it was also clear that they can't keep medical records straight.

I had been a patient of Dr.Mills since 1997, 23 years. I stayed with Kanan after they bought out his practice. Now, after the last year plus I have to say I am done with Kanan.

The Kanan office manager or owner will reply to this message and try to belittle my commentary or make it all out to be a misunderstanding or even my fault! I've seen it happen to other patients. If Kanan's management cared for patients as much as it did Google reviews they would be a great health care provider.

In summary, that's my opinion. Hopefully you will have a better experience. Or maybe they'll get their act together.

For what it's worth, I regret that I could not give the rating of zero stars.

I stayed with this medical group because Dr. William Mills was so amazing! His staff was top notch as well. Ever since Kanan has taken over, things have gone totally south. I can’t get a hold of a real person. There are no after hours messages allowed. Prescriptions are screwed up constantly! They require TeleMed checks every single month to renew prescriptions at an exorbitant cost. No response within 48 hours. Absolutely horrible! Do not recommend them at all anymore. So sad.

Kanan Medical is a breath of fresh air for the clinic! They have already cleaned the place up and updated it. We were nervous to meet the new provider, but Kim the nurse practitioner was so kind and thorough! She made us feel like family. They draw blood in the office now too so I don't have to go wait hours at Quest. We are definitely going to keep coming here as long as she is our provider. Also found out they can do microneedling and laser treatments. We are going to be healthy and look 15 years younger! lol 10 out of 10 recommend this place and Kim!

I was a patient of Dr. Mills and he and the staff were wonderful. After he retired I tried to get my blood pressure prescription renewed and was told that I would have to come in for a new patient exam which was scheduled 11 days after my meds ran out. I asked if they could get anything for me in the meantime and was told they would consult with the doctor and get back to me… they never returned my call and clearly don’t care about my wellbeing… will never come back to this drs office again…sad!
