This was my first visit to our new health care provider. Start to finish, the entire experience was excellent. Dr. Raad is the type of doctor I was hoping for. The nursing staff was also wonderful. I had the pleasure of having my hearing tested at the audiology department at Kaiser Permanente Scotts Valley. The audiologist, Amanda, was not only technically proficient, but very kind as well. She explained everything that she was doing during the testing and why she was doing it. I’m happy to have had my hearing tested and look forward to the road ahead with hearing aids.

The nurses insist in not allowing my wife to enter "initially" because of the "policy". I am told that there were private questions that they needed to ask me without my wife present. I do not appreciate the insistence and attitude given. I want to have my wife allowed to enter immediately and not treated like a second-class citizen. Please Change this "policy" or allow us to wave this request in the future. Note this ONLY happens in urgent care and not in my other appointments. The doctor who attended me was great and very kind, not like the induction nurses who asked me twice if I indeed wanted to go to another urgent care. If it happens again, I will drive out of my way to find nicer people to work with.

I went for PT and Becky (the PT) was caring and knowledgable about my health issues. She worked through exercises with me and taught me basics about how I stand as well as sit and how that may be causing some of my health issues: Stuff you just don’t think about while you’re doing it.

I expect this comment to be ignored; But I'll continue. THANK GOD THE DOCTORS ARE STILL IN CHARGE AT KAISER!! Your computers seem to have decided that I was dead and would not allow me to refill my most important life protecting prescription and turned off my ability to access my account at Kaiser. I guess it took a simple appointment to show I'm still alive and a few minutes with real people to keep my body working.
