Very straightforward and everything was explained as we did each measurement, didn't feel rushed at all. I was given written material and was able to read it while waiting for the doctor to arrive. This gave me a few more questions which she answered. We discussed the options and their impacts so I could make a decision that made sense. Looking forward to the surgery.

I recently had outpatient retina surgery. First. I am so impressed with the professionalism of the medical team. The surgery went extremely well from a medical standpoint, and the care received from each person encountered was extraordinary. From the beginning, I knew everyone was on my side: a key to hospitality. I was a bit stressed and each person treated me with such care, kindness and good humor. I know that Kaiser is data driven, but I received the old fashioned bedside manner that sometimes gets lost in the shuffle of day to day operations. Kudos to the entire team! 🙏

Had to have a colonoscopy at Franklin. The staff was extremely kind and professional. They made a generally unpleasant procedure as quick and painless as possible. Nurses were great (Sharon, Mike, and one more who I can't recall her name) and Dr. Stark was terrific as well. Hopefully I don't have to see any of them again soon, but if I do, at least I know I'll be in good hands.

The whole experience was handled very efficiently and I have no complaints. When the procedure was scheduled, I was told exactly what to do and when I arrived at the hospital Dr. Crawford met with me and explained everything. I woke up in PACU with no pain in my leg and have not had any since then. Three days after surgery the Neurosurgery nurse called me and went over all the restrictions again and answered all my questions. At one month, I met with Dr Crawford and he was very thorough and kind. I can't say enough great things about him and the Neuro dept. Thank you so much!!

I was afraid, as most people, of having to do a colonoscopy. But, the team of nurses and Dr. at the Kaiser Franklin hospital has dispelled my fears. I was in and out efficiently, painlessly, and professionally. The hardest part was the prep for two days.

Dr. Freeman is an attentive and knowledgable professional. She has become the caretaker who walks with me and guides me in my illness; she anticipates my concerns and responds to my questions with compassion and realistic positivity. To friends and family members who ask how I am "doing," I explain that Dr. Freeman and the oncolody team at Kaiser amaze me because they are as invested in my health and well-being as I am.
I am deeply grateful to the oncology unit at Kaiser, those wonderful people who administer infusions to a plethora of us patients as we sit hooked up to all different sorts of IVs in what would normally seem to be a dismal and discouraging process. Somehow, they make me and every other patient in their care feel special, as though they want us all to overcome our varied illnesses. I've seen two "bell-ringer" ceremonies while in the infusion room, and the enthusiasm of the staff in hoping that the celebrated patient "never comes back" is unrivaled by any other victory of any type.
