I arrived and got emitted quickly. The lady assisting me was patient and very helpful. The Dr was also patient and did a wonderful job. They were supportive and did the best they could to keep me calm and cool. If this is the type of surgery your seeking to have done then this is a good facility to do so. Thank you.

The intake staff members were very nice and gave me all the information I needed, as well as answering my immediate questions.

As to Dr. Kim, he was outstanding. I really liked him he was warm, concerned, and sympathetic to my situation. He also explained what he was doing and about the general workers compensation insurance medical examination. This was very useful to me.

If I could I would choose Dr. Kim as my primary care physician.

I am writing this review because I want women to be aware that Kaiser Permanente on San Creek Road in Antioch California does not seem to really care about their patients. Back in September of 2024 I found out I was pregnant for the very first time. I was unaware I was having an ectopic pregnancy. I was having cramps that became worse as weeks went by. I kept being told by nurses and doctors that my symtoms were concerning, but to call back if my symtoms got worse. I did not know how far along I was. I called Kaiser Permanente in Antioch Sand Creek Road every week. Kaiser would not allow me to make an in person appointment. I then started to bleed and had the worse cramp imaginable. I had phone call appointments after phone call appointments and I still was not able to make an in person appointment. When I was bleeding and cramping I was told if it got worse than to call back. I was told that I was not having an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage which was fustrating because I was not having blood work or checked any kind of way at that time. They wouldn't allow me to have an ultrasound. I seen online where it mentioned blood test. I was not having that either. I was in fact having an ectopic pregnancy. My partner had to help me make an appointment. He had to call Kaiser in a different city just so I could have an in person appointment. If it wasn't for my partner I would not be alive today. After my partner helped me get a in person appointment that's when I was having ultrasounds qnd blood test every week. My unborn baby was not showing in my uterus at all. My hcg levels were going up. I had a different test which proved that I was having an ectopic pregnancy and I had to go to the emergency room. I am so afraid that if I have another ectopic pregnancy in the future I will lose my life of even worse lose a tube.

Dr Jane Lee was very helpful. She was extremely thorough with her exam. We were concerned about my retina so she made sure to walk me through the exam as well. I would recommend Dr Jane if you are looking for a great ophthalmologist.

I tore my ACL and needed to have physical therapy to restore the range of motion in my knee. My appointment with PT Miller and training assistant Dunn-Koontz was efficient and thorough. I did not feel rushed and all my questions were answered with patience and understanding. The assessment and treatment plan were explained to me carefully and I left with a home-exercise plan and group sessions scheduled. I am confident that the care provided will aid in my recovery.

Dr. Ishizaki is caring and thorough in her exam. She is efficient. She determined an issue with my eyes based on my description and her conclusions based on her exam and tests. She also forwarded me for a consult with an ophthalmologist for further exam and verification.

Ever since the pandemic, kaiser's care has gone from a 10 to a 1 in my opinion. Every customer service complaint that I have put in (all 2023) has been more aggravating and produced less resolution than ever before. I was thankful to have this appointment and even with my frustration with kaiser to have a physical therapist, listen and treat me. Heather Ahmadzi, PT, went above and beyond, and really relieved me of a lot of stress. Heather Ahmadzai, PT, is an amazing physical therapist and compassionate human being. Thank you for listening and caring. Thank you for considering the whole patient instead of the part.

Forcing a claustrophobic person into an MRI w/ the same medication for a 100lb or 300lb person is wild. But taking their money (& never refunding it) when they don't get their MRI is wilder. Suggesting a Cat scan after 4 failed MRI's but then refusing follow up care unless the person pays a 3rd time for another procedure (another MRI) is bordering on theft and negligence. 2 yr begging for care while I get worse shows how inept and crappy Kaiser has become.
