Excellent experience. All staff was very knowledgeable in their field and helpful.
Just in general I am a bit frustrated with the medical system. I wish, that new research about nutrition and the root causes for allergies would be integrated into the allergy treatment. It’s sad, that this is not part of the training for doctors and that patients are left alone trying to find out where to start and what of the vast amount of information about this is trustworthy, letting alone which bloodwork is needed and what to ask for.

Halima A. Thorse was probably the best PT I’ve ever worked with. She not only asked me questions about my pain levels and worked around them when necessary, I feel like she actually listened to my feedback and pivoted based on it without judging me or disregarding my answers. She believed me, which is sadly, INCREDIBLY RARE for women being treated by healthcare professionals in the US. We get disregarded and ignored. I have complicated body pains and issues, even though I’m young, and most of the time therapists and doctors don’t know how to respond, so they don’t even try to work around them or find solutions for them. She did the opposite. It was refreshing and showed great humanity. She was funny, enjoyable, and a pure delight. She was also very honest which I greatly appreciated. She deserves a raise, Kaiser, please show her the utmost respect. It’s doctors like her that keep clients enrolled with your healthcare system.

After two therapy sessions over a six-week period, I am experiencing much less pain from my scoliosis thanks to the exercises that Cheryl taught me. She has been a great instructor and counselor as I look forward to freedom from pain and to relying less on my cane.

I had a stiff neck which severely limited my head movement and rotation. Prior to my appointment, I suffered, the pain medication, Ibuprofen, was hardly providing any relief. Even the yoga exercises I used to do, were no longer effective.
I couldn't wait for my appointment. After pinpointing where the pain centers were, Rebecca Hartman made me do exercises targeting the pain areas, and she massaged the area, to loosen the muscles.

I have only positive things to say about Dr. Holland. Great bedside manners. Detail oriented and very well educated. He made me feel comfortable making a big decision like surgery.

Justine Chiu is extremely competent and caring. Each time I come in for PT, Justine takes into consideration my progress and makes careful adjustments in my treatment plan. Additionally, Justine carefully looks at my goals and creates plans to help me meet my goals. Justine does not prescribe exercises based on some pre-defined stroke playbook. She looks at the whole picture and develops and individualized plan for me.

Dr. Wong is extremely competent and explains everything so that non-medically educated patients may understand. He is a genuinely kind, caring person.
