Finding the right doctors when you move into a new area is certainly a challenge—you want experience, empathy and honesty rolled into one particular package. You also want to know their staff is vested into you also as it takes a complete team in medicine to have truly outstanding care.
I was fortunate to find Dr. Sims through a Google search. Her reviews were remarkable, but it was her nurse, Rebekah, who phoned me after hearing a very comprehensive message from me and she worked diligently at getting me into see Dr. Sims for a possible obstruction. What I found most important was her making sure I knew if Dr. Sims was not the correct doctor for my particular issue, they would make sure I got into the proper hands.
In meeting Dr. Sims in person, I immediately felt at ease. She was not rushed and wanted to know, not only the issues I was currently experiencing but also what had lead up to this point. Her style of communication was comfortingly direct and she laid out a plan for care.
I am thankful there are still doctors like Dr. Sims. She delivers patient care 360.

Dr. Sims is the most recognized surgeon in the South Baldwin district by both patients and her peers in the medical field. She makes sure you understand everything going on with your case. She is both kind and compassionate and she will take your medical case very seriously. My surgery experience with Dr. Sims was outstanding.
