Please do not waste your time. My husband and I got couple massages. His lady was awesome as I watched him receive a professional massage as I was only rubbed on with oil. This was by far the worst. The lady was so lazy and all she did was rub my back and legs with oil. No deep tissue per my request or ask before and during the massage. I asked if she could massage all parts of my body because she stayed in one spot 15 minutes. She didn’t massage my arms or hand didn’t stretch my body. She left out for 4 minutes and cut the massage early. FYI it’s the lady that answers the phone and on the front taking payments. You had the nerve to ask for a tip when you should have been granting a partial refund.

2024 Update: back in town a few times and service was great as in the past. Saw Wendy several times but worked with new lady Lucy I think & she was wonderful too. Very professional & Courteous.
2023 Edit: have been back several times this year. Wendy was still there and did an awesome job. Can't say enough good things about her technical skills and training. She even resolved a mystery pain that my Dr couldn't put his finger on. Pain was gone next day, maybe exercise related?

Visited a couple times last summer and massage was ggood. EDIT... Additional review from march/april 2022. Changed from four to five star on review . Staff was new from my original visit probably a year ago & the massage was excellent. Visited a few times for back issues and I swear both of these ladies must be trained in Chinese medical massage as i read in another review. Probably a few of the best massages I've ever had (traveled for years & massage necessity for back) and I really need them due to health issues. Would definitely visit them when back in town. I believe the one lady's name was Wendy? But the other shorter lady also gave a very good technical massage. I'm pretty sure they have had formal training in acupressure as she pushed here & there during massage or other massage modalities but there is a slight language issue because I do not speak Chinese. Thank you ladies for the help & hope to see you again one day

My husband and I went here for a couples massage. My husbands masseuse seemed friendly and professional. Mine had her cellphone in the room which was constantly chiming and making noise. At one point she was texting while only using one hand to massage. There was no music playing in the room. Did not feel very relaxing. When the massage was over we were asked if we were going to pay with cash or credit. I said credit and went around the corner to pay with the woman who did my husbands massage. The other lady basically cornered my husband who was going to leave them a cash tip and she told him “more” and made hand gestures she wanted more cash. When I looked around the corner she put her hand down and smiled at me. Very unprofessional.

By far the WORST massage I ever received. Don’t even waste your $, she laughed when I did not tip before hand when I had cash to tip, but wanted to see how it felt, so glad I did not tip, all she did was rub my body with oil no actually massaging going. It is so many places, go somewhere else!!!

We came to Destin for a girls weekend. We read a few reviews on places. We decided to go with Joy Spa. There is not one complaint. I have had several massages over the year and this by far the BEST!!!!!! Massage I have ever experienced. I had a few places I wanted to let them know that needed work, but I never even had to tell them. They worked on places that needed extra work. I can’t say enough about this place!!!!!!

I made an appointment via text for a one hour RELAXATION massage. I went in and was told I had NO appointment. I was given a one hour massage condensed into 30 minutes which was agreed upon. However, I had to ask multiple times for the lady to take it easy on me as I was receiving a deep tissue massage which wasn’t what I had asked for. As a result, I’ve barely been able to move going on two days now.

We found this place while on vacation and was everything we hoped for. We walked in on a Friday afternoon and we were seen right away. Eva was wonderful. She constantly checked on me for pressure tolerance and if I was okay. This place gives you a full 60 minutes not like the chain parlors that take out time for dressing and consultation. We will definitely be back.

I’m what’s left of an athlete from many years ago. My body is extremely arthritic and has been broken up with metal in both my upper and lower spine, a knee replacement and too many other things to mention from my athletics. Both Of these young ladies worked on me for 2 hours. I’m 6’6, 300lbs - old, fat and sore all the time. I can only assume the other young lady jumped in to help when Wendy Whom started could feel all the bone spurs, trigger points, Etc.And ask her to jump in. This event was unbelievable. I’m on vacation and will be going back for another massage before I leave Destin. I’ve been lucky enough to have massages many places including world class resorts and this was as good or better than any I can remember.
This was a First Class Massage with beautiful people mind and soul; to take care of you!
