The first visit I had with them went amazing I was able to schedule my son in for two days after I called…. but now that my son is sick with a possible ear infection I’m being told I can’t schedule an appointment because they only do same day scheduling and are booked for the day and to keep calling back to check in or to take my son to urgent care they had no care in the world. I asked if I could schedule him out a day or two like I did before and the front desk staff told me no only same day. how is it they open at 8 and I tried calling at 9 and then 10 and they are already booked for the whole day and can’t schedule out

We’ve been going here for ten years and they have steadily gone downhill. The office staff isn’t personable or particularly friendly, and they can’t manage to keep the good doctors on. I left a voicemail at 6:45 this morning to try to get a sick appointment for my four year old. I called their office at 8:08 to follow up on my voicemail and the receptionist told me they don’t have sick appointments available for today or tomorrow, and that they don’t check voicemails until 8:30. She didn’t ask what was going on with my daughter and didn’t offer any alternatives. The fact that voicemails aren’t being checked until 30 minutes after they open is asinine. Kingman desperately needs additional pediatric options so parents aren’t forced to use this office.

We have a new born and for the 1 month visit we came in late for the appointment because we thought it was at a different time. (They do not call or send a reminder text like other doctor offices) While in waiting room at the front another family has the same thing occur. We have been dealing with other family emergencies hence our late arrival since we normally show up to appointments early. (OBGYN appointments) We come from Meadview, an hour away. We were turned away and given an appointment 3 weeks later. Reason for being turned away was they are overbooked. That's not are fault they overbook and are busy. Our baby has not been seen for his 1 month visit and we had concerns we wanted to discuss with the doctor. We were in the front waiting room for approximately 30-45 mins waiting to find out if the doctor would see us. Obviously he did not. I will be filing a grievance with the state. We locals out here do not have many options and from what it seemed we were not the only ones who thought the appointment was at a different time since we saw another family get turned away. Maybe have confirmation calls/texts like other offices do today, it is 2024 after all. So to anyone who is planning on coming here, please make sure to plan any emergency you may have and do not be late because THIS office doesn't plan for patients being late for unforeseen reasons.

The doctors we've seen are absolutely wonderful! However the office staff are rude and indifferent every time I've spoken to them. They've scoffed at my needing a same day sick appointment for my children and refused to schedule a follow up when my child got stitches.

My kiddos have been seeing the staff here for yrs. And sadly the quality of service has been going downhill.
My youngest just saw Rauchel today, she didn't seem like she really cared to hear about the issues he was having. We waited 2 months for this appointment, for her not to help us at all! Needed to schedule well visits for the rest of the kiddos and she made us schedule the all on different days and different months. I highly don't recommend. Sadly thry used to be the best. Not anymore. For some reason they can't seem to keep staff. One very unhappy mom.

We are very happy with Joshua Tree. Ms. Rauchel is just wonderful and we could not have asked for a better pediatrician for our girl. We never feel rushed, she explains things very well, and she is very understanding of our wishes for our girl. She is knowledgable and clearly understands current best practices, nothing antiquated. She supports breastfeeding baby, is willing to work with you and have discussions about alternative schedules for vaccines, and has updated knowledge of best practices for introducing solids to baby. She is clearly very competent. The front office staff is always very nice. We sometimes are a little behind in getting seen, but it doesn’t bother us because we know we appreciate the extra time spent with us answering questions without feeling rushed and we assume that must be what’s happened with another family when we are seen late. Highly recommend.

My children have seen all the doctors at Joshua Tree and they are all fantastic. We feel our foster-son has a special relation with Rene Holder who is very on top of everything with our special little guy. She is very intune to what he needs. We also had the pleasure of meeting the new doctor, Dr.Vieiral. we also liked him very much and prefer our children to see one of these excellent physicians. We are love the office staff. The medical assistants have a real interest in the children and have shown a great amount of love and compassion. Sorry I can't remember her name, she works with Rene a lot. Thanks for being there for the kiddos!!

Originally I thought I wrote my review on Google but it was actually Yelp, so it looks like he will have a few now.. lol. The new male doctor at Joshua tree pediatrics is amazing. I almost hate to write this review because I would hate to see him get booked up…lol. My son likes him, he’s organized, always quick with referrals for specialized needs, or worries. The women Renée is good, but so is this guy. He’s the only male at this clinic. I’m excited to have found him for my son. At least we know they for sure have 2 really good doctors there. The new male pediatrician ( forget his name but he’s the only male ped) and Lofredo. Both are excellent. Try not to book him up tho because my son needs him.. lol jk. Thanks

Update. Extremely happy with all the doctors there especially the lady with the red hair. My son really liked her. I feel all the doctors have really been great with my son. lol
