Since Bruises are gone😂😄 I’d rate my experience a 2.5 being transported from the hospital to the mental health department those restrain officers 3 of them TWO MALES ONE ☝🏼 FEMALE -While I was inside one of those closed rooms -> The male with no ID badge (At JFK) probably enjoys getting on top of patients- nonetheless suggested the female to trade (assuming he knew what he was doing was wrong / wanted to place fault on her ) when it was totally unnecessary ?The only ones who where professional where the Female and the male with the 😷 mask; I just needed sodium lol 😂 . We aren’t “Crazy “ Nurses there (Some ) forget the concept of Medicine. After all , the Brain is a powerful thing at most this point in time a few will ever understand. Neuroscience, is pretty Cool 😎 & knowing the difference is the 🔑to having a successful staff . Not all are applicable there that’s why it’s messy , hate to imagine how Mary mothers have been harmed .Eisenhower has higher quality staff I’ve never been harmed at Eisenhower. 🙂

We had a great experience here at jfk hospital. It was our 1st time going there but was the closest hospital due to the severity of my brother's situation. We entered thru the ER and then we're admitted. All the staff were kind and caring. Alen the nurse was super nice and kind to my brother throughout his stay. This may not be super ritzy compared to Eisenhower but it was clean and the staff and care made up for aesthetics, and the guest rooms were nice. It's the care that counts and they were great. Grateful for all the people that dedicated there lives to helping others. Overall really surprised at how positive a scary experience could be.

Why is this ‘hospital’ so poorly maintained? Nothing is developed to meet the needs of this community? What is the problem? This community needs and deserves a better run and maintained facility! So many citizens here that pay taxes and seems JFK hospital gets no funds!! Need bigger Emergency room and all around PATIENT CARE BEDS!!!
This is a disgrace to the county and city boards!! Are you all blind!! Btw JOHN F KENNEDY WOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO SEE HIS NAME ON THIS NIGHTMARE OF MEDICAL CARE!

If I could give this hospital a zero I would. There billing department is ridiculous. No matter how many times my insurance or I call them and explain everything we think it will get handled….. NOPE this idiots lie about not receiving a form that was sent multiple times and one person admitted they received the form and would be sent out and they would put the claim on hold until they are able to send in the paperwork my insurance needs from them. They didn’t have yet to do since October of last year. On top of that they are charging more the the contractable amount allowed. Never will I go here.

Do not go there, there is no treatment.
The doctor told me her job was only to run tests to exclude life threatening diagnoses. I was sent to ER with chest pain, palpitations, light headiness and was dismissed in 6 hours with…. diagnosis “palpitations”!!! No treatment received! All 6 hours sat in the lobby with other sick people , they called me in for tests and then put back into the lobby. I was dismissed with the advice to drink Gatorade. Simply horrible.

Had to deliver my son here but wish I went somewhere else.. My water had started to leak during the drive to the hospital. The nurse checked my dilation. I mentioned that I have a tipped uterus and she literally said “that’s what all doctors say” and that she had been doing this for 30 years. Said I was at a 3 and they would probably be sending me home. I ended up being admitted even though she made it clear she didn’t know why. Mind you I live in garner valley and this was the closest hospital but still a 30- 40 minute drive. She and another older nurse were completely horrible. I’m a phlebotomist and they both went fishing while putting my IV in , they completely went out of my hand and back in and blew my vein. I had a bruise for 3 weeks on my hand. I was finally in my bed and right after I laid down my water completely broke. I tried to explain to the nurse that I thought my water probably just leaked before and that now it had fully ruptured. She flat out said I was wrong and it had already ruptured and said I just peed. I told her no and said I had fast labor and she brushed me off. Then about 10 minutes after I started having really bad contractions and asked for the doctor. The other nurse said “if your going to be crying like this at a 3 your going to need an epidural.” I told her okay if she thought so she could go get it ready. While she was going to get someone to do it the other nurse came back and I asked her to check my dilation. She said “ okay I’ll check it but I’m not going to be doing this all night!” And yelled at me. She checked my cervix and I reminded her I have a tipped uterus so check it. My son was literally crowning. She ran out freaking out and shaking got the other nurse and the nurse shoved her hand up my brith canal and held my son in until the doctor came. Even though I had asked for the doctor multiple times. One of the other nurses said that the nurse that was holding my son in caused my sons oxygen levels were to drop significantly.

She was hurting my son instead of just letting me deliver because she didn’t get the doctor when I asked her to. What is the point of going to the hospital!?

That nurse was trying to send me home even though I told her I had, had to have a cerclage, have fast labor, and live 40 minutes away. From the time I was admitted to the time I had my son was less than 1 hour.

Horrible staff and experience. My son could have had severe complications with the kind of staff they have here.

So normally I really wouldn't recommend JFK hospital to anybody due to past experiences but I was there yesterday in the emergency room and I got to say the staff they had their last night was awesome. Gentleman by the name of Alex who does the x-rays literally put a smile on my face and I was having a really hard time breathing and whatnot that day and he actually made me smile, very outgoing, and almost made you forget that you were sick and that you were actually in an emergency room so I really want to give a shout out to him cuz he was awesome. And the rest of the staff was very very nice as well, they were very helpful and actually seemed concerned and caring as to why I was there. They just really did an outstanding performance yesterday and I would like to give a shout out to JFK hospital emergency room department for the dates of February 1st and the 2nd 2025

I would like to First Thank Nurse Ari. I didn't want to Go To this ER but had No Choice. This Nurse went far beyond my expectations for a Nurse.
My son recently had an ER visit for his breathing. She had a huge impact on His medical treatment. She made My Son feel like family, as if it was her son or cousin.
She made that whole experience much more enjoyable being at a hospital. I dread hospitals.
My son would not stop talking about how she took care of him. And how he wants to be a Nurse when he grows up to also help people.
JFK has a Bad Rap for being this and that of a hospital. But now and then, you get a NURSE, LIKE NURSE ARI to take control and manage the process so painless.
God bless you, Nurse Ari. I'm glad JFK has nurses like you handling business .
Respectfully.
Noel
