I am VERY picky about my primary care physician, having had some really good ones in the past --- as well as some duds. Dr. Abt came highly recommended as a DO, as I was seeking to use a DO instead of an MD for personal reasons. I feel as if Dr. Abt has not only a gift for diagnosing and referring as needed, she's got a pleasant bedside manner. Dr. Abt is never in a hurry or makes you feel rushed when listening to your concerns. Feel free to write them down and bring the list of questions with you. Her nursing staff is very proficient, and her phlebotomist has the magic touch! (She never hurts me when taking blood for testing!) Dr. Abt has diagnosed issues with me that even teams of other specialists missed! I appreciate her patience and kindness, but I trust her judgement and her treatment plans. She's all about follow-up visits and is easy to communicate with. I highly recommend her as a primary care physician for you or your family.
