Bubba was born with an immune system deficiency, and they didn't bat an eye and done and have done the best they can for them. I appreciate their care and concern for my misfit crew. I don't ever leave reviews even if the experience was bad. Hearing the experience that my mom and little brother had many years ago and now working in the vet field has me sick to my stomach on how they went about things for our maybe 2-3 week old KITTEN. Mom had taken her to them because she developed a slight head tilt and had a little wobble when walking. Nothing else had changed with her she was still eating and drinking normally and was still acting like her normal kitten self and very playful. There was no sneezing coughing, vomiting, or diarrhea. She wasn't old enough to start vaccines at the time but they took her from just glancing at Kisses and diagnosed her with RABIES. They didn't test her for ANYTHING like a combo test or maybe if she had ear mites (ear mites could cause her head tilt and is treatable with something like Revolution Plus). They took here right away and euthanized her with NO EXPLANATIONS WHATSOEVER. Not only that they didn't charge for an exam or the euthanasia or if she was tested for rabies, NOTHING. No records at all. Nothing was sent home in regards of what happened. They took her away from my little brother so fast he didn't nor did my mom get to say goodbye. I can not express how angry this makes me when vets are supposed to be there to help your animal in need but that's not the case here and just seems like they're answer for anything is to put your animal down instead of trying to figure out what's going on and PROPERLY treating them. NEVER GO HERE! NEVER RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE!!

Jefferson Animal Hospital is the BEST! I took my dog Bear to them for years for his regular shots until the day I found lumps in his neck. I. Took him to the vet to see Dr. Phillips and I was told he had Lymphoma. He was very patient with me as I cried and called my husband to let him know Bears diagnosis. He answered both of our questions and helped us understand what the next step was. Dr. Phillips and the vet techs treated him like their own. Anytime something came up they would answer any question on the phone or get him in the same day. This place is amazing and I knew he was in amazing hands. Thank you Dr. Phillips and the vet tech staff for all the compassion and care you showed to hear as well as my husband and I!

DR. Jason Phillips and all the Vet Technicians are AWESOME. I took my canine brother Bear or as they called him Chubbs until he passed away from lymphoma a few weeks ago. Dr. Phillips and the Techs were so patient and compassionate during his sickness and his entire life, I always felt like they treated Bear just like he was their family pet. The day Dr. Phillips told us he had lymphoma my wife and I cried like babies and the amount of bedside manner and compassion they showed us I will never forget! I hope if you are looking for a Veterinarian who will care for your pet like family you make an appointment to see Dr. Phillips and the Team, they won’t let you down and if there is an emergency with your pet they make time to always get you in, give guidance over the phone, and treat you like family through hard times! Thanks Jefferson Animal Hospital Team like I said I’ll never forget the kindness you didn’t have to give my family!!!!

I brought my dog in to get his shots, wormer, and nails clipped. I asked before they brought him back if they wanted us to take his studded collar off, and they said no. When they brought him back to me, he was bleeding from what looked like his nose. I asked about it and they said it was from the muzzle that he chomped down on. They told me that I needed to work with him by messing with his feet so they could clip his nails easier, and that it was hard to do it with the collar on that I already asked if they needed it taken off. I’ve brought my dog to a groomer several times and NEVER had a problem with them saying this.
