I personally have not experienced it first hand but I know many who have, and this place has its goods and bass to it. But I don't like is the fact that you have to be there by 12:30 and if you miss it they lower your dose which means the addict will will be sick lol I'm trying to street drugs to get well and if they test dirty for street drugs at the clinic their dose gets lowered also So no matter what they're stuck in a vicious cycle of not getting help A lot of the clients that go here are unhoused I recently housed members of the community people that don't have vehicles themselves people that don't have adequate sense of time or way to tell time so often they are late and miss methadone because of not having a ride or not waking up in time or just not getting there in time and then their dose gets lowered and then they'll have to go use and then they test them the next time they come and they have recreational drugs in them and their dose gets even lowered more and if they miss more than 3 days they're kicked out of the program It's a very vicious style cycle that needs to be revisited and refabbed for it to actually work I believe

Ive been in many different methadone clinics, all around the state and all of them allow walk in same day care. This county is obviously turning its back on addiction and making it as difficult as possible to receive care. Let me clarify that the staff is great at Janus. Its the red tape that ruined this place!

I've been going there as a patient and even worked there off and on since it was named "Triad" back in the late 90s and it's a great clinic for MMT/MAT. At times it's definitely been less than perfect, particularly in the past (2003 to 2005). But since Janus has taken over they're far more consistent and reliable now.

Counselors can be a mixed bag, but that's true anywhere and the vast majority of the time they're great. It's a good program, you just have to be willing to work it. Do that and you have a very high chance that you'll succeed.

This place saved my life. I'm fully aware of the stigmas about Methadone but if the process is done correctly an addict can live a full happy and successful life. I love the staff and the nurses. My counselor is awesome they all are! If your struggling or know someone who is give yourself a fighting chance!

I am beyond grateful to the staff at Janus both in patient & outpatient. The majority of the staff are also X-addicts/alcoholics, so a lot of them are able to relate to the patients. My life was in complete shambles and I could not see a way out, the knowledgeable staff and counselors changed my way of thinking. Also, if you are unable to do an inpatient treatment, I HIGHLY recommend Kristin for outpatient. She is a true genius and has helped me immensely with support for every aspect of life. Janus staff, my heart will forever be grateful to you all. I will be able to give back to this wonderful place one day very soon! I love this community! Call them if you need help!

F - that horrible person at the bottom rippin on the other patients. I have had two sons, and now a daughter on Methadone.
Methadone was developed, so that pregnant heroin addicts would have a clean drug that they could switch to, without having to withdraw, that would not hurt the mother or the fetus. Almost every baby born there is healthy and on track with milestones. My children are beautiful, smart, exciting young people. Methadone is the best thing FOR ME. Not everyone, but me, yes. Absolutely.
